A new analysis of men who pay for sexual activities suggests that their true goal is finding something a bit more complicated – true love – even if it's from the sex worker.

In this new study, Christine Milrod and co-author Ronald Weitzer analyzed 2, 442 postings on an online discussion board from a sex provider review site where more than a million clients of sex workers read and post about their experiences. Approximately one-third included a discussion about emotional intimacy between sex workers and their clients, many of whom expressed a desire to grow their relationships beyond the physical level in the form of sharing private feelings and mutual love.

'In recent years, we have come to see a gradual normalization of independent escort prostitution, where sexual encounters have come to resemble quasi-dating relationships, ' stated study author Christine Milrod. 'Our study shows that regular clients of a particular sex provider often come to experience feelings of deep affection, which can progress into an authentic love story. '

In one survey. 32 percent of customers arrested for soliciting a prostitute said they bought sex because they 'didn't have time' for a conventional relationship. 28 percent did not want 'the responsibilities' inherent in such a relationship, and 18 percent said they would 'rather have sex with a prostitute than have a conventional relationship with a woman. '

The study uncovered feelings ranging from 'counterfeit intimacy' to 'authentic emotional bonds' between many prostitutes and their respective customers. Motives for initial payment for sex ranged from difficulty finding a partner for simple conversation to fantasy role-playing and abuse targeting.

However, many of the customers interviewed in the study expressed emotional elements lacking in a pre-existing relationship. Many of the female sex workers interviewed said they catered to the men's emotional needs and described many of them as, 'highly respectful' and sometimes 'more caring than the other men in their 'true' personal lives. '

One-third of them in the study said they wanted something more than the physical release of 'the hobby' as it is called by many sex customers.

A Boston man cautioned, 'Men in this hobby who think they are only after sex are deceiving themselves. Sex always involves emotion, with the possibility for eventual affection, closeness, and emotional connection always lurking there. People can fall in love when they least expect it. And that love can last, even while one or both parties are married. And even when one is a provider. '

This place is adjacent to the Building 19 annex, plain looking. Walked in and at the desk was a large white man with a bald head, and had the smelled of LEO. Asked if I had an appointment and told him no, he said that there was a girl available, but the big head said no. I walked out. Set up? Sting?

I have been here. This is where I met Mary of Wilmington (subject of some recent posts). The owner of this place is involved (either owns or her boyfriend owns) withat least three other places I know of in the area, including Mary's place. You'd most likely leave happy, but there are better AMPs in the area. Behind the reception area is a large common area. Rooms are down the right hand side of the space. Probably four or five of them. Common complaint is that the walls do not extend to the ceiling, so much can be heard. In the back left corner of the common area is a small room with a ts. They seem to want to do the ts after the massage. Either way, you're walking across the common area in just a towel. No robe. It's a bit awkward. They often advertise as having black and latino girls. I know they had a local white girl at one of their places in Tewksbury back in May. Dollars to donuts they're all Chinese, though. Often run specials on ts or 4-hand.

In short, safe bet, but not the best bet.

No sting here. I visited a few months back. I forget the girls name, but probably 40-45 yr old Hispanic woman. Nice body and very friendly. When I called I thought I was getting a black woman, the add indicated that, but was satisfied with the looks of the girl that I got. Pretty good massage with nice ending. I did see the black girl on the way out. She was a little thing and would like to see her the next time there. She seemed very friendly as well, with some back and forth banter on the way out.

Actually Andri, the tip was too much by at least $10. PW is a firm believer in not rewarding bad behavior. I never tip more than $10 and frequently $5 for an Asian place that advertises with fake pics etc and offers DIY or worse. If they want to be a real spa be a real spa.

The area is under construction so you need to go all around and get there in line with all the other cars driving in that area.

Massage was mediocre at best. I drew a very nice looking girl, asked for the name but don't know what she said.

She worked on my shoulders, back, butt, thighs, legs, arms always lacking enthusiasm or technique.

Never teased nor gave any sign for anything more.

I tried to break the ice and started a conversation, tried to make her at ease and tried to touch and caress her legs but nothing.

No extra offered and massage was below average.

Probably YMMV here but I won't visit this place anymore. There is the Bedford SPA in the area that is way better than this one.
