TinEye is a reverse image search. It doesn't have as large of a search area as Google Image Search, but both tools can help you determine whether a photo is real or fake.

First, you right click on a photo on an ad in question, and click Copy Image Location (or something similar depending on your browser).

Then, you paste that link into TinEye, or if using Google Image Search (click Images) click on the camera icon in the search box, and paste the link in there. I generally use both to be safe.

Sometimes you won't get a hit on TinEye. Usually you'll get a few if not more hits on Google Image Search.

I then go and check out the sites that have the image. You can tell if the images are fake if they are linking to sites that are unrelated to the services that the provider is offering (such as a photo gallery for a model; which is the place where the photos are stolen from most often). You can also check to see whether there are other ads running in other places with the same photos. If the dates don't match or aren't close together, then it may be a traveling provider. If the dates of the postings are on the same days or are close together, then you most likely have an ad with a fake photo that's being used across multiple ads.

Use Google reverse image search to see if the images in an ad are used elsewhere. The more hits, the more likely they are pictures "borrowed" from another provider, or model, or sometimes even actresses.

You can drag and drop an image to the search field, or copy the image url and paste it in.

Example, the post just before yours mentions a sting warning. Drag and drop one of the images, and it shows up as being from a London escort. The others are as well. Does it make sense that an escort from London, with her own website, would be traveling to Salem, MA and posting on Backpage under many different names? No, it doesn't. It tells me it's at the very least a bait and switch, or in this case, a police sting. I wonder how Chelsea of London feels about her pictures being used for a sting op?
