I SAID I had a lot of time on my hands, didn't I?

After the unsatisfying encounter with Donna / Samantha Saturday afternoon, I decided to take a break, going for a couple of pints at one of my favorite watering holes, the Memphis Taproom, just 5 minutes away down E. Cumberland. Refreshed from that, it was my intention to just head home, but the evil pull of the K turned my wheels back that way, and I figured,"Oh, what the hell, I'll just make one final pass, then get going." Remembering that that street had been blocked off, I stayed parallel along Jasper, ready for the final run when I spotted a nicely-proportioned brunette who made the move toward my car as soon as I slowed down. I was already passing her, so I went around the block and returned, finding her still there and smiling at me. Again, I stopped. She came toward the car, smiling her greetings. We exchanged hellos, but she wasn't getting closer. Didn't look like LE (visual cues) , so I didn't drive off, but stayed to chat. She said her name was Emmy,"like the awards, you know." More exchange of pleasantries, I offered a ride, she got in, we did the "formalities" and drove off. I wasn't up for another ride crosstown to Carlyle, so we agreed on a quick car servicing.

I returned her to near where we met, and asked her digits, as I wouldn't mind a more involved date. She said she couldn't remember hers (new phone) , so I gave her one of my numbers, but she hasn't called it (oh, what a surprise!).

Searched this forum and didn't find any mention of her. Anyone else encountered her?

Can you tell I had a lot of time on my hands this weekend?

Took a drive along the K on Saturday. Rough getting through, as there was some kind of street festival (which I later found was for some church) , and LE had blocked off from Cambria to Lehigh, stifling any kind of action there. After navigating some nasty side streets I got back to K at Lehigh, and began scouting for talent along the next section. At the intersection with Huntingdon, I spotted a not-unattractive young lady, who gave me the "look." I pulled to the curb, she came over, I asked if she needed a ride, and she got in. We did the obligatory you-touch-me-I-touch-you "handshake" establishing our mutual lack of LE affiliation, and discussed a pleasant way to spend a little time. We agreed on a trip to Chez Carlyle, chatted all the way there. She was new to me, and I like having SOME idea of who I'm with. She gave her name as Donna. Got to the no-tel and went to the room, she pulled off her clothes and said "do what you got to do." Huh? Pretty dry and direct, I felt, as she just lay there, looking bored. Needless to say, that had about as deflating an effect on me as one might imagine, and I quickly lost interest. I told her, we got dressed, and left. I paid what had been agreed upon, because I'm that kind of person, but what a dud of an experience.

Browsing past reports, and recalling her teardrop tat, I later realized that she is the person mentioned several times in past postings as Samantha (which is what she wrote with the phone number she passed me as she left). Sounds like others had a lot more fun than I did. Perhaps it was a bad day for her.

There's been plenty of commentary about the VERY visible (and some not so visible) LE presence in the portions of the K stroll within the 24/25th Politzei Districts. Marked, unmarked, warrant unit, SWAT, etc, etc, which of course endangers the very hobby we all hold so dear. I can't believe that the populace all of a sudden found morality and raised their collected voices in protest of the danger presented by the conduct of commerce unbecoming an upscale neighborhood, so there has to be something else afoot. Might there be some purported reformer running for Council office in that area? If so, the heat should ease after elections or whenever that candidate is revealed to be the area's biggest drug dealer, whichever comes first.

After weeks of reading and following the senior members, I finally decided to take the plunge on my most recent trip to PHL.

Picked up Christina? (could be spelled differently) near the K Ave around 9:30 today. She was wearing a jeans and black tshirt.

Asked for. 2 for BJ. Did BBBJ and CIM for. 3.

So I am driving down Allegheny and just before I reached American, I see this petite woman walking down the same direction. I casually turned down American and then reversed so she could see my car again. I then drove up slightly and waited. I eventually saw her in my rearview mirror walking across American. It took a moment but I noticed that she turned up American towards my car. Nice! . Or so I thought. She got in the car and said hi. Immediately I could tell something was wrong. I did not get her name but she had on a summer dress with a necklace. She appeared to be in her late 30s or early 40s. She was Latina but I am not sure from exactly where. Her body was nice. As I mentioned, she was petite. I could not tell if she had any curves but she did lift up her dress to show me that she was wearing shorts. She had a tattoo on her right thigh. I could not make out what it was. As we drove off and started talking it was clear to me that she had a Tracheotomy (hole in the throat).

During the ride, she gave me a song and dance about how she needed $20 before she went home. To her mom and kids. The whole time, the only thing I could think of was what would happen if she tried to swallow my load. She admitted to me that she smokes crack "ALOT" and then everything made sense. I guess she smoked crack so much that emergency personnel had no other choice but to perform the necessary surgery. We made several turns and she asked me to stop in front of her $10; which was actually in a pretty offset neighborhood. I tried but I just could not bring myself to do it. When she got out to check if her friend was there, I drove off and just headed home.

I did a search throughout the forum but I could not find any reference to her. Does anyone know about her?

Being from the eastern side of the river I'm wondering. Where in Trenton do they ply their trade? I didn't think there was much action left there that one wouldn't run away from, except UC LE when they decide it's time to make trouble.
