I have a newb question. I tip about $20 at legit AMPs like jojos. But am never sure about tipping independent masseuses. If they are running out of their house and charging $85-120 (as opposed to $49 with most of that going to the "house") is tipping still required or expected or are they working the full expectation into the advertised price? I have tipped independents that were charging low ($80) and gave more than expected but if the price is higher ($120) or if the massage was an $80 no extra massage, is tipping still expected (or the norm)?

No need to tip independents unless it's known that their fee is only for massage and they happen to give you a free HJ as well.

FYI, drove by last night and they are open for business. Didn't stop by but Open sign was illuminated.

Went by again last night, and same thing no lights. Not sure what happened, they always seemed to do okay business. They are not in Duluth, so I don't think they have to follow the same rules regarding sign in sheets. There were a couple that were very nice and gave really good massages, like you said sans extras.

Pretty sure he is referencing Majesty. Reports I have seen and comments from others that have seen her suggest the guy is not there all the time and service is pretty good for the quick. I have had a couple independents in the last few weeks tell me that customers are telling them about this site and what is said about them. I thought it was supposed to be for our benefit to get the best bang for the buck. There was one I won't mention by name, but somebody was telling her what I was getting and wondering why they were not getting it too. Use the info to try to get what you want, but if you don't get it, don't tell them about the board in order to use it. I am just going to backchannel my info to trusted sources from now on.

The one a few years back was next to a tattoo parlor off exit 149. I even think that strip center was torn down. The most recent one was across from the RaceTrac in a newer strip center. They had a table shower which made me think HE was a possibility. They kept everything covered even during table shower and no hint of extra's. An hr was $75. Never went back. With it being such a tourist exit, I would of thought something else would have popped up, or at least some out of the cheap motels at that exit, but rarely see anybody advertising around there. Figured I'd try this place given the numerous reviews about it. I really can't recommend this place to anyone. I was a first-timer here so maybe that had something to do with my bad experience, but I definitely won't be back here regardless. I give mamasan the courtesy of calling ahead 20 minutes prior. I walk in and when she greets me she asks me if I was the one that called, and I say 'Yes'. She lets me in to the room and tells me $60 for 1 hour. I lay down $80 on the table and ask for only a half hour session since I was in a hurry. She says OK. I get undressed, and she leads me to the TS room. I felt like I was her pet dog while she was hosing me down. Water was cold and she barely made it warmer when I told her it was too cold. She barely dries me up, so I finish drying myself and walk back to the room. I notice the donation I put on the table was already gone. Mamasan tells me girl would be in a few minutes. I wait about 15 minutes. I didn't understand what the hold up was because I was sure I was the only customer inside. Finally the girl walks in. Older 40's lady but nice figure with a nice rack revealing some cleavage. Here's where things start going downhill. $80 for half hour I figured I was going to at least get a good massage and maybe an HE. This was the worst most laziest massage I have ever received in my life. This woman had absolutely no desire to give a massage. I figured if I could get a HE out of this at least the $80 would have been put to good use. To make things worse, there was constant interruptions with customers coming in and getting turned away because there was already another john that had walked in. Apparently, this place can only accommodate two customers at a time. The constant interruptions, might have made the Mamasan edgy, which I can understand, but still there was no excuse for the worst massage in the world. When she finished the so-called massage, I made notion for HE, and she outright said 'NO' and walked out. So there I am feeling totally ripped off. Mamasan comes over and asks how was the massage, and I tell her it was terrible and that I want my money back. She comes back with a $20 bill because she says it was $60 for half hour. Obviously I'm pissed at this point, and start to storm out the door. On my way out, the woman that massaged me promises HE when I return. Whatever. I won't return.
