I had forgotten about that place. I remember thinking at the time that I thought it took some real balls to think they could pull it off.

What a sweet location though hehe. Wife can go shoe shopping, and her husband can kill the time with other activities. Damn, that would get expensive though!

Obviously I am okay with places that give extras, but even I shake my head with places like that one. Right next to food court and movie theatre. Not because of any moral ambiguity, but because of the sheer stupidity of offering anything in such close proximity to those type of public gatherings. There was one a long time ago in Gwinnett Place Mall that would occassionally agree to the rub and tug too, but I haven't been to that mall in ages, so it is probably long gone too.

All of the hysteria over the foot massage places is just one more reminder that if a member is lucky enough to find extra services in a legitimate spa, this information should stay off the public boards. The info should be disseminated through back channel with trusted members only. While I'm sure LE knows the difference between the Korean run spas and the legitimate Chinese foot spas, the right wing pastors and city council members tend to lump them all together. The quoted news article used the pejorative term "massage parlors" to refer to the Chinese places. Most foot massage places are completely legitimate. Most of the customers are house wives. But reports about lucky encounters on the public board only fuels the fire.

OK, and from now on I promise to stop signing in to the parlors as "Fengzi." It's the least I could do given the cultural climate.

If you pull up the article in the paper, below it shows related articles and there are a bunch relating to massage parlor busts. Interesting reading.

Hey, we don't want word to get out about this 'masturbation for hire' concept. It's bad enough that the homeless tout signs saying "Will work for food."

I've always wondered which masseuse in the Mall of GA location fucked up? In addition to the Chinese ladies, there was at least one black lady who gave me a massage. I didn't press for extras and she gave no indication of any. Before I had a chance to go back, they got busted.

Be careful with that bet. I do agree with your assessment, but for those that may not remember. There was a place INSIDE the Mall of Ga just a few years ago that got busted for offering extras.

The article mentions Missy Retreat, Tong Tong, Tai Ji Hands, Nukoa, and Chinese Therapeutic Massage. Does anyone know if any other shops are within the Duluth City Limits? According to the city map I find on Google, Duluth doesn't include the Johns Creek spas on Medlock Bridge Road. Or the spas along I-85. This would be just the areas on PIB and BH between Berkeley Lake and Sugarloaf Pkwy. Is this right?

I assume Johns Creek is its own city as the signs indicate that. Looks like they didn't slam VIP Spa or did they already close down? BTW, where the hell is Chinese Therapeutic? Don't recall that name.

That sucks but I did get a laugh over today's news story of the BP sting that busted a cop.

Yeah, saw that too. I'm assuming that the cop was looking for rental pussy, so why not tell the sting guys he was a cop too? At least he would have had a chance they'd be sympathetic and let him go. And, the most interesting thing is, Winder has rental pussy? The few times I've driven around its neighborhoods, never saw any sign of it.

I don't think the Shitty of Duluth is actually that big and my bet is whatever is left will just move out of the city. I guess according to the article a couple of them gave up and are closing and where Missy's had an undercover investigation and they found nothing. I have seen sign in sheets at other places, but other than my last visit to Missy, was I ever asked to sign it. Especially the one who got nailed for not getting it signed BEFORE the massage instead of after. That may explain why when I went by Nukoa the other day, the lights were off and door was locked.

But now you know that Nukoa is closed for good. Missy is slick and can probably smell a cop a mile away. I'm sure she gives a HJ to a select few though.

Magical Hands got nailed for having an unlicensed masseuse so I assume Magical, Empress II and the new place across from Great Wall have been under Duluth city radar as well.

I'm in front of the Sugarloaf place now. Doors are locked, no "Open" light on. Do you know what may have happened here? One of my favorite spots (sans extras).

Was in the mood for a good therapeutic massage on way home from work, so called the place off Sugarloaf and 29 to see if Linda was working. She does not do HE, but gives a good massage and will usually do it undraped both sides. Phone went to voice mail, so I thought they must be busy, since it is on way home, stopped by, but the lights were out and nobody was home. Not sure what was going on, if they are closed for good or just for the night. Anyway decided what the heck would give Natural Healthcare a shot since it is also close and just a little out of the way. Thought maybe I would get Anna. Got Judy, thought of crap. She draped on my stomach, but I removed and she did not put back. Thought maybe I was going to beat Nite to the punch. Still no teasing and after hot towel and flip, I slid towel down to show the goods, she said "you want special massage?" I smiled and she wait one minute, figured I was going to be able to brag. Well she walked in with Susan and said, she give you special massage and smiled and closed door on her way out. Susan was like you said Anna was, no English at all. I "thought" the dividing line was Medlock Bridge and businesses on the SE side of road were in Duluth and businesses on the NW side were in John's Creek. Obviously I thought wrong since that would mean that L&L and others on that side of street would be among those facing license revocation. And the article did not mention them.

As to the ones up I85. Not sure since Gwinnett Place Mall has a Duluth mailing address but not sure if that area is unincorporated Duluth or not. But if it is subject to the city council ruling, then I suspect this would impact a bunch of other massage spas in that area too? Just a side note. Since some of these places fall into the good massage, but no HE category, I wonder if HE will be available if they go elsewhere? Now that would be ironic.

After typing all the above, I went back and did a quick reread of the linked article. It sounds like the article just focused on just those five since they were the ones that originally appealed the decision. So bottom line, not sure what to think. But, the article did say license revocation is pretty much immediate, so I don't think we will have to wait long to find out.
