I don't usually like giving advice to grown ups or trying to coach up the rookies but I would like to offer the following. We are all here to help, provide intel and share our stories. But it's not kewl to always ask for "digits" and never offer anything to anyone in return.

Here is a better way of approaching a fellow tracker in this concrete jungle called Baltimore: "hey that was a great post and I would like to meet (you fill in the name). Here is a number for (you fill in the name again) she is a great provider and does the following. Her number is (fill in the blank). Woukd you mind sharing the number for (you fill in the blank?). Can you see how that might be a better approach versus: "digits?". WTF? Seriously?

Like I said, its dead out here tonight, I covered the CB loop and the WW loop and SA area for a few hours.

I saw nothing.

This should do it. If you can find something similar at a better price or used, that's even better. Closeouts & used are great deals you won't do better, at least for this, by buying new & expensive.

This is small, you can keep it in your car. Handy for accidents, it will fit in your pocket, take HD movies and is probably a better than most camera phones. You can set the resolution lower in-camera if you like or simply resize the few pics you may want to post.

I agree with Jim below and this should not be too much of a dent and deliver good pics.

Don't want to carry a high-res digital due to the price and potential of being stolen.

Don't want pictures on a phone (evidence for wife or girl friend).

It's what you are comfortable carrying and won't kill you if you lose it.
