Have a friend that is African American and he has told me about some issues that he has ran into. He states that he has been to some white providers and when he shows up they will not let him in. States other times he will get service from white provider and when the provider feels safe around him they will let him return. It appears a lot of providers are afraid of young african american males. Any one of any race can act up or do some law less shit so not sure why african american males get singled out. The disturbing thing is that I see african american providers say no african american males: I am yet to see any other race of provider say they do not service their own race.

LR you are right on: there are idiots across all races, but sadly with us AAs it takes only a few bad apples to spoil the whole barrel. Bottom line to these providers that do discriminate: get to know the person first. Regardless of race. And then if he treats you like a jerk, then you've got the right to deny him service. But prejudice really does leave a bad taste for all involved.

Being a provider can be a risky undertaking, no matter what race of people you're dealing with. It seems to me that nut cases and those who want to do harm can be found among all races.
