I took a stroll through the Ave tonight, despite the weather conditions. When I first arrived out all I saw was a tall thin, donkey faced blonde walking around by the Coney near Livernois. I cruised up and down a bit and noticed the HTS down by the car lots walking around. On the way back through I ran across Neesa and we spun off to my favorite spot. Practically every mile had a strip club or there were girls walking up and down 8 mile and the cops (at least on the Detroit side) turned a blind eye.

My personal favorite like that was the Berkshire Motel on Joseph Campau across the street from Dodge Main. They had a small bar (the Robin's Nest?) with a little jazz combo playing. There were typically about 5-6 girls on any given night. Each girl pretty much kept the same room in the motel and decorated it as they saw fit. You buy her a drink (to satisfy the bar owners) she takes a sip, she gives you the room number and then leaves to go freshen up. 5 minutes later, you walk across the parking lot and into the room. Are there any bars like Jumbos, any Theatres like the 6wood now? Anywhere? I can't believe I stayed out of the 6wood because I thought it was all gay instead of women upstairs, men down or some such. Only been there once. But I did go to the Serenghetti Ballroom for some "taxi" dancing. I couldn't believe that for a dance ticket and tip you could actually F%k right there on the dance floor but like behind some big plants. I stopped going there because (get this) they made me wear a condom. (uugg what a silly young man!) But this was approx. 79-80 and I was very young.

I'm semi retired but what area would you gentlemen consider the best and why? I had thought good ole Kwame would've lightened things up a bit or at least established an unofficial red district. But on the contrary, Ella bully Cummings actually went the other way and now it seems like it's hard out there for a pimp / ho and us too!

Pretty much the jJhn are / Michigan / Fort / Triangle / Gratiot / 8 Mile area is the unofficial red light area, but Uncle Leo has to keep up revenue by doing the stings out there. Especially with the casinos near cass corridor, the feds would shit a brick if that area wasn't cleaned up!

Any bars like Jumbo's or theaters like Wood Six? No, shame really, that would have been a better option than driving around looking for SW's

Really liking the stories man. Wow. Did I miss out on the good times. To answer your question, I've always had the best luck on JR. I may not be as experienced as some of the guys on here, but I have been mongering for probably 15+ years. Keep in mind though, as it has been reported on here, JR is pretty hot with LEO right now. I have been hitting the Pontiac stroll lately when I have time. The SWers aren't as numerous and there are some real zombies, but you can get lucky there. I finally figured what the Triangle you guys have been talking about is. I've only been there 2 times and both were surprise encounters. 1 time off of fenkell near that bar at the edge of the park and once in the park after coming out of the Wendys. Haven't got that way much.
