Where do you get away with 15% tipping, and think that is normal? Standard rule of thumb for eating establishments is now at least 18, with 20% being the norm. The standard I use is; CCL with average skills=20.

Well kept, clean with skills=30, half / half with enthusiasm=40, and full menu, GFE, blow your mind=50-60. At 20% that comes down to 4, 6.8 and 10-12 respectively. I would think 5, 10, and 10-20 would be more in line.

What I don't do is offer an amount up front, rather tell them I will tip according to service. The better they do, the better the tip. This incentive works well, and I keep to my word. It only takes a few cheap SOB's looking for cheap thrills to throw our current price structures into a bidding war with the girls. We have been very lucky, with regard to pricing structures in Balto.

I realize that this logic will fall on some deaf ears, but that's how it goes. Just remember the waitress's code" don't piss off the person who could spit in your food".
