I would say you're right on. These girls make alot of money, if she can't afford to pay her driver then she's doing something wrong. Maybe drugs, IMO that's a red flag. What's to prevent her from taking your money, going over to her driver to pay him but instead hops in the car and off they go, into the wild blue yonder. It's another thing if she wants the money up front once in room, that's common, but not the best situation. Why don't you offer to pick her up, then take her back home afterwards, saving her the money for her driver?

Unless the driver is dropping her off and leaving her to find another way home he can wait for his fee from the lady. Obviously the former isn't the case so I would stay clear of this one if I were you. You could call her bluff and tell her you'll come get her yourself just to see what she says. Paying a girl upfront is one thing but handing her the money so she can return to the car she arrived in is out of the question.

Are we talking simple gas money here? If so, a prepaid gas card ($20) should take care of that, upon arrival! At 15 m. P. G. That should take care of 100 miles round trip.
Why does she refer to her "friend" as her "driver"? A friend would do it for gas $, a "driver" for the $$.
How far away is she coming from? Did you offer to pick her up? How long is she expected to stay, where does the "driver" go once she is dropped off?
Have any other discussions taken place about donations, gifts, roses, etc? Are we talking about the whole gift, roses, donation, at drop off?
Sounds like a bunch of unanswered questions before the "date".
