She has an artificially high opinion of herself. Up until recently she's been seeing one member of the forum (who shall remain nameless) almost exclusively. He's a well intentioned sort, but has an ego that does tend to get in his way. His tendency is to overpay and monopolize the hot ones, until they're not so fresh anymore.
