You actually just stumbled into the topic of the moment. There are much better / more consistent options in Detroit. Try BT's, Coliseum, Hustler, or Penthouse before John's Hot Spot. Google for locations, talk to the ladies and the option will be there for you leave a happy man.

I agree, never had a bad meal at Coli, the steaks have been great. I've also eaten at Hustler and Penthouse, no complaints at either of those as well.
