Maybe 8 to 10 years ago while shopping for a stag party joke gift I ran into two 24 to 28 YO girls who seemed stoned and were satisfying their curiosity about the XXX section of Towers. Smooth talking me had them in a booth watching movies in no time. I remember it being a hot summer afternoon and with three in booth it must have been over 100 degrees. We were all pushed up against each other tight and there was much groping and rubbing going on especially every time I had to reach into my pants for more coinage. But their giggling got way to loud and we all got kicked out. They ran up the street, but I was too hot to chase them. This has always been one of those "what I should have done differently memories" I think about now and then. Funny though, at the time this activity in the Combat zone was encouraged!

But I'm not going there.

On my way home it hit me, I'm done. This lifestyle, over the past 4 years, has been a roller coaster, mostly uphill. Ya there was more than a few good experiences, but for the most part when I look at everything over the past 4 years the literally thousands and thousands of dollars I have pissed away, the few times that I did have a good time doesn't justify all the other crap that being a hobbyist has brought about.

So I have come to the conclusion that I've had enough, it just doesn't do it for me anymore. I would like to thank everyone who has shared info with me over the years, mostly Skatar, and Virgil Dan, thanks everyone and play safe, Macsys

Don't know what to say that hasn't already been said, but still want to say a couple of things.

Good luck, Macsys. Whether we want to admit it or not, most of us are as addicted to this hobby as the SWs we meet are addicted to drugs. And, like kicking a drug or drinking addiction, it's a day by day thing. You make up your mind, each new day, not to return to the old addiction. One point, with regard to the money you've spent: If you have kids, whether adult or minor, think what you'll now have available to give to them or their kids. And, think of the opportunity this affords you to re-establish a more intimate relationship with your wife. (She might wonder what's come over you.) In any case, I wish you good luck. Keep putting one foot forward, one step at a time, and never look back.

PS: I don't know why, but I'm reminded of the mid-60s movie A Guide for the Married Man. It starred Robert Morse and Walter Matthau, IIRC. If you haven't seen it, you might want to rent a copy, along with a couple other movies, and have a "Friday Night at the Movies" with the wife.
