First, Thanks for the suggestions. The taxi is for better hunting (like hiring a guide). I had no intentions of having taxi dates, planned on going back to my decoy room. What I mean is I will rent 2 rooms, my actual room and a decoy room for dates, same with my wallet, Ill have a date wallet and my real one locked up in my real room. The reason I was looking for a place to stay close to the action is to keep the meter rates down. I'm not rich, but I'm not broke either, If I do this right my dick should be in a wheelchair when the week is over. Again thanks for the info and looking forward to more good info so my trip is a success!

I find that the SWs on the K disappear into the crowds more so than any other place I have been. Could be the fact that many of them don't even have the sense to make eye contact. So different from the Vegas casino girls. Within 5 minutes of walking in the door, they are in your face and in one long breath,"Hi, What's your name? Where you from? Where you staying? Want some company?" Gota love it!

I've never tried that in Philly but I'm sure we all would agree that, to the untrained eye, the abundant SWs on the K disapperar into the crowds. Maybe a cabbie COULD be a tour guide.

I would seriously reconsider the whole taxi over rental car idea. That might work in some areas like Vegas or AC. I think that here you will be cutting your options down quite a bit. Car date in a taxi? A few trips up and down Kensington to see what is avail? Have not been in a cab in years but with all the traffic lights, I'm guessing that could get expensive.

I want to add my two cents to that generally good advice.

Cabbies are a wealth of information.

When I went to Las Vegas a few years back, I was out on the main street ("The Strip") at different times of day and didn't spot any SWs despite my well honed ho-dar. Then I took a cab and started to talk to the driver and "casually" said I'd heard there were lots of working girls in LV but didn't see anything. Then he told me I didn't know what to look for. He just pointed,"There. There and there. And after midnight look over by [naming some hotels on The Strip]." Sure enough, my eyes opend and I saw SWs amid the crowds of civilians.

In NYC, I once told a cabbie that I had grown up in the City but had been away for years and it seemed the City was much cleaner and safer. He agreed. Then I asked him where all the hookers had gone and he told me where the strolls had migrated to. Great tip.

I'm planning a week long trip to your fine city to do some "sight seeing". I will not be renting a car and plan to do my "sight seeing" via taxi. I am wondering if any of you have some good suggestions for motel / hotel close to the strolls and strip clubs. I can see by some of the reports the strolls are spread out north to south along with the strip clubs. So would I be better off near the airport or on the north side of town? I would not mind finding a place to stay on or very near a popular stroll so I can "sight see" from my window. Thanks in advance!

I would stay in center city. There is a nice Marriott. No good place to stay near the stroll, sort of a drug infested mess. The airport is far, the AMPs are downtown, and center city is nice for when your done perving.

Have a great trip to Philly. I would like to see everyone else's suggestion. (Delaware ave for Delilahs?)

There was a quickie mart but it was burned down when one of the clerks started selling drugs. He refused

This is Lisa. I only had a few hours in town and had planned on seeing someone else. I always have to take a tour of the Ave to see who is out there. I just stopped to say Hello, as I had previously spent a 5 hour day with her. She had me laughing the whole time and also gave me a great CBJ.
