A female friend of mine got entrapped by LEO off route 40. She's an out-of-towner and this is her first time dealing with the law. Her court date is set on Oct. Anyone knows what to expect and how to get off charges. Please advise.

There's a good lawyer on S. Conkling.

Make sure she has a lawyer. If she goes in without one, the prosecutor will get some kind of conviction and that will remain on her record. A good lawyer will work so that she has a clean record. A lawyer will be worth every penny and will likely only cost a one day court fee.

Can't stress this enough: Don't mess with the legal system without good legal help. Get a lawyer.

I remember that post and I went back to read it again. I still don't see where the name Ashley is mentioned. He says that senior members will know who he is talking about. I had never met Ashley, so if it was her I wouldn't know. The SW described could be any of a couple dozen girls. If I had known I might have done something differently, but I didn't know. CLS if you do a quick search you'll find a post were Hairy Dude described his experience in detail. Ashley left her purse and he found her medication for HIV. Sounds very credible. It is not incredible to think all SWs have been exposed. How many "partners" do you guess they have per day? Per hour, per week? Not a sermon just a thought. Picked up Ashley this morning around the circle on Wilkens. I have read a lot of good things about her for some time now. It turns out they are all true, and then some!
