I've been searching for the past month for something on the To Go menu at or around 3pm. Sadly, it looks like the lettuce has wilted under the heat lamp. Most days I head out, I see nothing at all. If I do see something, its on North and it doesn't look at all appealing.

Has anyone had any success in this city after 3pm? I realize its a busy time, but hell, shouldn't that mean there's something out there somewhere?

So I was coming off the freeway, heading up national like I always do. I was out on the south side today and things were slow. I was on National a little before 11, after the rain cleared up. I saw nothing on National then over to Greenfield. I saw hsw Yari around 7th. It's not just north and south loops; don't forget about "central." Wisconsin Ave between 27 and 35 has some nice prospects, especially Friday and Saturday, usually between 10 pm and 3 am Has been my experience. 27th, north of Wisconsin for a few blocks usually has some nice choices too, as well as the general neighborhood side streets north of Wisconsin.
