About to move to area. Who are the good girls and is the area still good?

Secondly, I'd learn to use the 'search' feature of the forum to aid in your RTFF endeavors.

As a newbie, you're going to find a lot of hostility toward the 'give me info' approach when you are an unknown with no track record to fall back on. For all we know you could be LE looking for an easy bust. Most contributors are not going to easily give up info on specific girls to an unknown.

Okay, we realize you don't live in Baltimore, neither do I, but I monger there when I am in town. I've learned to RTFF and ask questions based on that information or about local lingo. I'd have never found B / CB if I hadn't asked what it meant.

I was on Monroe and picked up Melissa. When you got into the car I realized you didn't look that hot. I still got a little head work which pretty good I guess but then she got miserable. Late Tue night, around 1:30-2:00am, I picked up Erin a block past the circle. Although this news comes second-hand I believe it is true. Someone who is familiar with the guy on the Eastern Shore that she stayed with for a while tells me he investigated when her mother contacted him because no one had heard from her for a while. She says that he found she had OD'd a while ago. This information comes from someone who had known her since they were about 13 and in juvenile hall together, and had remained friends ever since. This is indeed very sad, because Ruthie was a gem. She was a nice, although misguided, girl who didn't deserve to go this way. She will be missed a ton. Although I believe this information to be true, I am still hoping that it is not.

Remember the good old days, when it was rare to find a girl, civi or working, that had even one tattoo? I don't mind them, but on a SW scale they can "amplify" the appearance of the damage from the sauce / meds, and lower them a number or two.

Anyway, I've been trying for three weeks straight around haven and haven't seen much. Is that area under the microscope for some reason I've missed? It seems like there is an unusually heavy presence of uncle leo there, and on more than one occasion on my first pass I've seen girls chatting with fully marked cars like it was perfectly normal. Especially in the alley behind mc'D's and conkling. Anytime I see that going on, I leave the area.

I won't say that area is under a microscope but for whatever reason it seems like the eastside is dead or mostly dead. This goes for the questions about Dundalk too.

I can't say how or why the eastside finally died off - mostly - but over the past three or maybe more years pickins have been slimmer and slimmer and eventually it seemed like slim just left town.

I would put at least some of it on the gentrification that has gradually and over a long time taken over some parts of the area. That drives the price of housing up for everyone and raises the lower end from flophouse / rent for cash to simply market rate slum. Many of the eastside working girls lived close to the stroll; now most of those places are just unavailable to someone without a regular job. What used to be flophouses are now in slightly beter shape and rented to immigrants and working poor. Combine that with more residents in general and it means that cars are in the parking spaces which makes it harder to pull over and more and more people are out and likely to make some kind of noise over unsavory activity.

Just a few years ago, many places on the stroll were devoid of people, especially late at night. Conkling was a ghost town except for the SWs. Pat Park Ave was always empty of cars on the park side of the street and really easy to pick up SWs. Now it's the opposite.

I am not saying I have all the answers but the lack of working girls living in the area and the difficulty of dealing with a very populated and increasingly popular area makes mongering there a different proposition. What I would say about Dundalk is that it never had any flop houses and had some but few working girls. I think the efforts of the BCPD SE District have spilled over and the demolition of part of the projects gave SWs less of a reason to walk the area in general. Odonnell Heights was a steady local drug market for SWs; just walking back and forth to get some medicine put them on the stroll and easy to find.

I do think you will have a little more luck late at night; though that makes mongers a little more conspicuous.
