Not sure if the girl I found yesterday is the same Mandy that has been mentioned repeatedly in the last few reports. The girl I scooped yesterday at lunch time at 9th Ave and 34th N. She is going crazy now and has spoken to me quite a bit about getting clean again. They both have been on drugs for over a decade and her mother sees how bad her daughter is and recognizes she is the only one that has influence. She wants to get clean herself so that she can be there for her daughter. They are both welcome so they can get a start in life. But in reality, and this is why Mandi is fighting this so hard, I've been talking about going into treatment and that is a really difficult thing as you may or may not know.

As far as the 1 in 2 of 10. That is that many less. Look, it isn't just the fact that it is screwing her up psychologically or the fact that she is destroying her body with drugs. There are other factors like cervical cancer and so on.

And Amanda is no different than many of the working girls. Nearly all of them have serious addictions and don't like what they must do to support their habits. You'd be suprised how many others use iv drugs. Rock is still the affliction for most of our working ladies. More and more ladies are taking opiates lately. Blueberries (30mg roxy) are the most popular. Most dancers and many agency ladies take opiates as well.

If you seriously think she's the only girl in that situation. You must be blind or ga ga for her. Wake up and smell the coffee. All of these ladies have significent addictions and issues. They don't date men twice and three times their age for.

Love. They're feeding an addiction.

You want to help her? When she's really ready get her in a program. Make sure it's a structured program. Then it's all up to her.

Everyone plays a part in this society, her role is a SW. If she really wants out of the life, then she will choose to striaghten up, its up to her.

My hat is off to Smackthatass who as you all may know is pretty hardcore about this stuff and he and other members I have private messaged have agreed to help by not partaking. I only hope that all of you can find it within yourself to do the same. Someone might argue that she will still find money somewhere and that is true but the harder it is the more hope we have of her getting sick of it.

First, you make up 2 stories (how she was sharing needles with an HIV user and how she flipped out in your car) to try and scare people from picking her up. Now, you're telling people not to pick her up. How did you meet her? You're just as bad by giving her a free place to stay, you need to wake up and realize you're being used. And even if everyone on this forum stayed away from her, I'm willing to bet 1 or 2 out of 10 people that picks her up is part of this forum, so that's not going to solve anything.

I've been on the wrong side of addiction, I can tell you from experience it doesn't matter what you say, or her freinds say, or her family says, she is the only one that will decide that enough is enough. When you hit rock bottom, you can either stay there or pick yourself up, unfortunately some people don't have a rock bottom or it's a lot lower than others.

You can plea all you want, it won't make a difference. You obviously are trying to keep her for yourself because if she's as hot as smackthat says (and I trust his judgement) , than you just want to act like her savior so she can come running back to you. You are doing this to be selfish because you can't get a normal girl in real life, so you go after a street walker (who is hot) with an addiction, thinking you can "change her".

You can't change people, they have to want to change themselves. I use to smoke 2 packs of cigs a day, and I decided one day I was going to quit, cold turkey. I haven't smoked in over 3 years. Those that smoke, know how hard it is to quit smoking. I also used to weigh 325 pounds, I am now down to 225. I changed my eating habits, started working out, and laid off the alcohol. Again, I did that because I DECIDED that I wanted to be healthy and live a long life (if there is such a thing).

The point is, she has to want to change. You can't "make her" change, no matter how much pleading you do.

Just my opinion, which means nothing on a message board.
