This is my Saturday afternoon cruise report. After getting great service from Becky, I attended to a few things in Center City, then hit the K again around noon. I saw this short girl wrap-around sunglasses, walking on the K close to Thayer st, so I pulled over at the 7-11, only to find two cars of Philly's finest sitting there. I went into the store, bought some gum and a soda, then left. The girl came into the store, went to the fountain and refilled her ice coffee cup and left. At this time, I realized she looked familiar, when she took the sunglasses off I realized it was Lauren, I had gotten FS from her around new year. So, I am in town on business and thought I'd take a look at Philly's ever popular K Ave. This was Sunday afternoon around 3pmor so, and I spotted "Kelly" a WSW walking along the avenue in a hoodie and torn jeans. While the girl was hot, her friend was too pushy, and this smelled to me like the beginning of a rushed date, I have in the past spend $ on a girl, but this was for an all-nighter multiple pops, and someone I knew from previous encounters, also the attitude can enhance or break the mood. The duo appeared fairly new to the streets, and seemed to believe they could have their way, so I let them be.

I went out on the Ave, at about 9am, and lo and behold there was talent and plenty of it. I spotted this WSW at the pay-phone on the corner of Kensington and Cambria. After some minor hosing down to get the excess off, the ride looked like it had been parked on a Philly side street for months.

Here are some car tips for mongers that I've learned in retrospect. Don't go on the ave with your car buffed up. Girls will think that you have a lot of money available by having such a nice clean car. On the other hand, if you let your car get "dirty up" in order to blend in with all of the other filthy cars.

Yeah, I hear ya! This past Fall I had just gotten finished buffing up the ride for the first time in many moons. Nothing like a nice shine from wheels to antenna! But alas, I got the opportunity for an UTR date at the Carlysle and realized a trip there in the polished up ride might not be the best idea. So.

Must have worked well as when we parked in the vicinity of the hotel, there were a few independent businessmen working hard to counter act the effects of anti-gravity on their porch steps. Car was unmolested on return.

So after dropping the date off, a quick shower for the car and one of those wand places, and I returned home no worse for the wear. Funny thing is a couple of days later I parked the clean car in front of a shop near the hood and as I waited for the mechanic, an independent businessman came into the shop and offered to buy my ride.

Don't discount the "value" of normal ride.

Er, that is unless one likes to monger in a Lamborghini with Bens fluttering out the window on hard acceleration.
