Apparently, Monica came from a good family. She told me that her mother helped her out with cash and necessities often. It's is very likely that her mother made the proper burial arrangements. Monica was a very special girl. I will miss Monica.

I first met Monica sitting on the bus bench at 39 ave and Flagler on Feb 17, 2008.

Her grandmother had a little house right behind there south of Flagler. She has several relatives around Miami and Miami Beach, I wonder if they know the details on her life in OT and on Flagler.

Monica was so cute and fresh then, I use to imagine that I could save her from the streets and take care of her because she was such a fine little lady.

Hey guys, I saw Melissa last night and I asked her about Monica. She told me that she heard from people that Monica had her throat slit by a guy. Melissa claims to have had a run in with the guy about a year ago, she said that he punched her, and I think she said he raped her. She said that she has warned other girls to stay away from the guy, and that the guy has progressively stepped up the violence on the girls. She said that the guy drives a red 2 door car! Hope this info helps.
