Posts: 64I don't think finding a house is a problem, the SW's have contacts they use.

So unless you have tattoos on your neck and look like you are dealing, LE will think it's a John.

With the recent K Strangler issue (now in custody) , I woul; the ot recommend walking the K either way. Even if you find a good one, it may be tough going to find a spot house being a visitor. You could get a chaep car rental@Enterprise near D's den. If you do walk it I would hope you would do it during daylight. Best of luck in any event. Also be advised that the Elevate only runs certain hours (midnight) and you would then be on the night owl bus. (parallels the M-F line during those hours)

Posts: 139Foot Mongering Strategy on "The K"
Greetings.
I'm wrapping up my vacation plans to NYC either in June or July. As a side trip, I'll be in Philly for either a day or overnight trip to check out "The K". And I'll be on foot as well. So, what would be the best strategy for me: To start from York-Dauphin uptown to Erie-Torresdale, or from Erie-Torresdale downtown to York-Dauphin. I'll also be riding the Marrket-Frankford line to either point.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks,
NYK

I just saw the reports that a suspect is in custody and has confessed. Hopefully everything on the Ave and this board will get back to normal.

Posts: 218That was way faster than I expected. I stand corrected.

Posts: 1123I am glad the killer wasn't a current or ex board member. That would have brought a whole lot of attention to the board and probably calls by 'concerned citizens' that it be banned.

Posts: 1384Yes that was the update this morning as well. They also mentioned that he confessed to the murders as well.

Hi Zaphod. As of yesterday evening, he (not sure if I can put his name on blast in here) has been linked to three (3) murders. Murder charges are pending for all three.

Posts: 218Not Holding my breath on this one
I wouldn't get too excited Just yet, he is a major suspect and they have DNA evidence linking him to 1 of the victims, but he has not been charged with anything yet. I would give it a few days before I breathe a sigh of relief.

Just came home from a late night of meetings and was greeted by the good news that the Strangler was arrested! Maybe things can start getting back to normal.

Posts: 89What is your mongering experience lately?
For the past month I roam around the avenue for at leat half a dozen times but I always came out empty handed. The last time was before Christmas, I think that was Dec. 22. It felt that all of Philly LE were all out in K literally in each and every street. I know that the Kensington Strangler is still out, but have you seen any increased activity of our beloved SW's lately?

Well it seems like the strangler gave them a reason to try and make inroads in phila again. But here is the kicker. I'm watching them last night doing a kinda shift change and the are getting shirts and hats out of a car that was apparently part of their group. Now I'm not 100, but it looks like crazy Nichole was BS'ing with a couple of the guys there and they were playfully putting one of the berets on her. Got to say she has a way with men.

Hey we all know Jackie from Huntington Station. Well one of the great things about her is her teaching skills. She has such a big heart that she takes younger / inexperienced girls under her wing and shows them the ropes. Even refers regulars of hers to these girls. One such girl is Trish. She is a gorgeous girl with a great attitude. Super tight body and athletic as hell. Used to be into gymnastics. I haven't been able to reach her by phone for a week or so. Her phone is on but know answer. Maye she got out. Maybe she went home. But more likely her phone was stolen. Has anyone seen her this weekend. She is always between Huntington and KnA, but has a sugar daddy now and mostly works by phone. Reply in thread or via PM will be appreciated.

No Eagles next season. When collective bargaining ends in March habits will change.
