I for one agree that the absence of SE on the board has been felt by many for sometime. He brought something to the board that has not been seen here since. I don't live in Philly but have traveled there several times so some might consider me an outsider but SE helped me on my trips to Philly with advice and info something other guys wouldn't do. He posted regularly with pictures the guy was a pussy hound and everyone knew it. He never treated me as an outsider he was a good guy in my book.
To the haters I hope it was worth it too.

The majority of my posts have been in the Lancaster and Reading sub-forums, that said, I work two evenings per week in Philly, and [prior to the severe problems on the "K"] often used info contained within the Philly forum to maximize my mongering [often from SE's thread]. This probably makes me a hated "out of towner", even though I was educated in the city, and have worked here for over thirty years.
Whilst SE's posts may have been "overly indulged" [point of conjecture], and while most of those viewing and commenting on his work may have been from out of the area, his "outing" has had a purely negative effect on the suburban and central PA threads. Prior to mid-December '10, a stale post in Philly was one more than 5 hours old. There are now lapses in excess of 36-hours between posts in what was once a very active forum. Likewise, the suburban and central PA forum members would often go to the Philly threads first, then migrate back to their locale. Now, a fresh post is one which is less than a month old.
My question: Was the outing of SE worth it? , and if so, why / how?

Cruised the K walk tonight around 7pm after work. I was just window shopping as I didn't feel the need to stop on a Friday night with a fair number of LE about. I wish I had brought funds in preparation for a change of heart, however, as there were plenty of SW's about, especially in the south end near cambria.
There was a strange sighting, I feel worth mentioning. Driving past DD near Luzerne I saw what appeared to be a promising WSW smoking a cigarette, separated from the bus stop group a bit. I was so fixated on her I didn't notice the LE car across the street on the side walk OR the LE comm truck just next to her (prolly a good thing I wasn't actively mongering). The strange part was when the LE car sounded its siren for a moment she through her smoke to the ground and immediately got in a box truck which had been parked behind her the entire time with its lights off. The truck then drove off with her. If this is some sort of sting, I hate to say it, but perhaps the gent deserves to be caught with all the heat clearly around. But that's just my opinion.

I agree with Biggie and Davey. That was my initial impression too. But may be we should welcome him back at least he gives some info. Also may be no penis pics this time. For one, I will welcome him back.
Unfortunately, I missed the outing posts. May be someone can pm me the info dark posted. Its just curiosity that I would like to see SE (I conjecture from previous post that his name was Gary)
On a side note, I ll be moving to a nearby city soon. So those members who get pissed when out of towners post here, you may save your time!

LOL. Good catch, Davey. I just looked at KenzoKid's previous posts and he leaves telltale signs that remind one of Gary's writing style: "the Ave" with the "A" capitalized; commas fastidiously placed between independent clauses in a sentence; overuse of the words "blondie" (not capitalized), "fugly", "spinner" ; question marks at the end a sentence fastidiously placed inside, not outside quotation marks; overly casual mention that he does multiple cups (LOL, pining for youth) ; over-lonnnng descriptions; point-by-point quote/rebuttal of someone else's post; etc.

The accusation that I remember best from DP's outing post was that Gary did himself in by talking too much. If indeed this is his attempt at reentry under yet another alias, doesn't he ever learn? Aren't there municipal bonds out there to be sold instead?

Posts: 1384Sorri for my grammatical errors. I'll be sure to use spell check from now on if that will please you. But on the other hand since your posts have much similarity to another poster who used to take pleasure in posting pictures of his semi-erect penis (word was that was about the best he could do) I'll continue to really not give two hoots to any of your posts. Seems like you may have a boner (or should I say a semi-erect boner) for CookyJar as well.

Yeah, turns out he was married, in his 60's, and in the financial services business. Goes to show you shouldn't mess with the girls and the people here in the forum or someone might out you.

My latest foray to the K (it's Avenue, not Street) showed an above-average presence of LE, but it was easy to make a pickup on one of the side streets. Short term, things will ebb and flow with the election cycle. Long term, I see signs of the neighborhood getting more upscale. I bet twenty years from now the epicenter of PFP (pay for pussy) will have moved from K&A west towards Broad Street and / or north towards Juniata.

I know I'm kind of late but I read that they caught the bastard. I for one is happy for that. How are things out on K street since the arrest.

Maybe I pay more attention to street geography than some. No biggie.

Posts: 88'Nuf said, KK. Why the need to belabor this?
I have to say, as another member of this forum who's from outside the immediate area (though a frequent visitor) that I only recently, after several years cruisin the K, noticed that Erie ends where Torresdale begins. In fact the only reason I would turn right onto Torresdale when northbound on Kensington would be to either check out DD or else cross over by McD's to head back down the K. It wasn't until there was some posting a while back about Torresdale SWs that I took notice of the street name change.

BTW, I enjoyed KK's post about Holly and Chrissy. Will keep an eye out for them.
Cheers. SD

That's odd! I am not sure what point you are trying to make. But, it took me maybe 3 or 4 minutes to figure out that the DD in question was the DD mentioned in this forum. I took one look at the four or five girl standing around trolling for dates and said to myself, "Dis must be the place." (Actually it didn't matter if it was the right one or not; there were girls so I picked one up, it was as simple as that.) It took me four years to figure out it was on the corner of Kensington & Torresdale and not Kensington & Erie. So sue me.
