Long time lurker, first time poster.

I've been out a few times over the past 7-10 days and had some decent luck. But, want to relate my near-bust story.

So I'm cruising the main track, Dixie and Copans to MLK, MLK to 31st. 31st to Atlantic, then back. See a couple on MLK but nothing worth stopping for. Make the return trip and finally spot something, near Dixie and 10th. So I head west on the street past 10th, back north on the street parallel to Dixie, then come back east on 10th. I never pick up after coming off Dixie, always on the return to Dixie. Pick her up, we turn down dixie. Hottie, name redacted on purpose, but young, cute, and small. Figured she needed and ride and didn't want to be out walking in the cold. Introduce ourselves and then comes the flashing lights in back.

So turn off Dixie onto a side street and wait. Uncle LEO approaches the car and asks her out. Searches her, finds nothing and she leaves. Takes me out of the car, searches me, puts me in the back of his car. Runs my license, car registeration, etc. Meanwhile two of his friends show up and search my car. They tore it up, everything that was in my car wound up on the floor. They find nothing. I'm seriously thanking my stars she did not have something and drop it when the lights came on.

Now, two interesting tidbits. My zipper on my shorts happened to be down, he noticed that. I had had a cold so I had a couple of hankerchiefs in the car, one of his friends said he found "cum-stained rags". Just building some probable cause for arrest, is my guess.

So naturally they didn't buy my story about what I was doing, tell me many times she is a known local prostitute and they can arrest me. But they didn't. Just gave me a ticket for "stopping". Of course I was stopping, it was a stop sign.

Lessons learned? Not sure. I really did not see him anywhere when I made the pickup. Guess I'd better stay out of the area for a bit.

I have been back for a number of days and have yet to see even one SW on the Pompano stroll. I suggest if you want some SW activity, go to WPB, Hollywood (many cracked out SW's) , and the real well worth drive to Miami.

I was here last year around this time and the Pompano scene was on the decline (I think). I returned to SoFla yesterday and went over there at around 10PM. Dead. Went up to downtown WPB and further up broadway (don't know what town it is) and there were a few out over there. Took 1 back to Pompano. I saw nothing in Lake worth and don't remember ever seeing any SW on 1 the last year either not sure where they are over there. Finally got back to Pampano. Still nothing. Pathetic. Went back today around 7:00pm since you guys seem to hunt early around here. Still saw nothing.

Dead out. Picked up Brooklyn by the church on MLK around 12pm, gave her.4 to swallow. Not the best, but she is a girl of her word.
