Hey Seva, I must have been right in front of you when you saw the Transit Cop make his bust. Watched him pat down the dude since his SUV had the road somewhat blocked. Pretty gutsy of him as he was alone without any back-up and that corner (Somerset) is one of the scariest on the Ave. By the way, that was no crowd that gathered to watch, that was just the normal bodies that hang there. As I am sure you know, that part of the city is not on any official tour map.

Whats up Philly board? First post so bear with me.

First I bow to your collective knowledge and skills, and professionalism.

I'm been hobbying since 2001, and I've experienced from excellent, to the horrid.

I'm no expert, just a novice. So I humble ask for safety info on Philly. I know all the areas where to procure what I want. But I don't know the people. My only car that I have is above averge and red.

I don't want to get busted nor robbed. Is it safe, or not? Is there alternatives

Like renting a ride or just purchasing a hoopty?

Last time I was in Philly I was passing through and stopped on k. Saw this very pretty WSW name nicole or jennifer. No relations to any girl I've seen on the site. Probably wasn't a pro or whatever. She said she was 27, and doesn't come out often. My senses were telling me possible drug user. But wow she was highend stripper material. Never seen a SW like her. Anyway BBBJ and cover FS for.40. Got the digits from her after the drop, but since the time I had with her was so good I had to have it again. Call up, and I picked her up again and this time to the hotel for extended play for 1.00. Oops, sorry. Wasn't explicit enough. I mean red PLUS the next 3 cars in line! LOL! In other words, if you are the guy in the intersection as the light turns red, the next three behind you are going to go through too! This is especially true with left turners.

Then I am lucky I still have a rear end. I stopped.

The guys going just before the green light are looking around the corner at the light for the crossing traffic, and when it turns yellow and no one is coming, they take off.

Figured that one, but still a bit weird to suddenly have a car fly by me while I'm still sitting at the red.

CL, I'd heard the 'three second rule' before. Did it myself here a few times to save my rear end. The one that got me was watching the people go just before the green.

All of this just "normal" Philly traffic customs. Now if you were in South Philly, you could double park or park in the center lane of the street. But alas, don't try that sh*t in and Philly unless you want to be towed.

I may be out of line here, and I mean no disrespect by this, but there is no way you guys who are lowballing are driving a decent looking car or dressing even the part of a working man. If girls think you can afford it, they will try to get it from you. If they figure you don't have it, they will settle for less to get their shit. Obviously if you drive a Mercedes you are asking for the higher price, so that would not be the best choice for lowballers'. Are you guys using certain tactics to get them to accept, or are you playing the part of a lowlife to get them to assume your broke. I know you guys are not really lowlifes, or at least don't act the part, so whats the deal. Maybe I need an alter-ego!

Well someone must have spread the word I was in town.

I hit K again around 10 AM and saw maybe three ladies out. One overly anxious and I passed her by though I think it was one of the many Nichole's or Nikki's. Looked tall, skinny, LOOONNNG (like to her waist) hair and today a pair of black pants with a 'peace' sign on the back pocket. She was south of Lehigh by a chain link fence talking to some dude.

There were a couple of other possibles in that area, one sitting on the steps of a building, not looking, but most certainly watching.

There were a few more out around 5, but then LE was thick. I did the 5 trip knowing I didn't have time to partake before the show I came up to see, but just wanted to see if there were any more ladies out.

Not sure what was going on with LE, but when I turned onto K from Lehigh two PPD cars had a guy pulled over and less than a block further south SEPTA PD had his car in the middle of the road while he cuffed some guy he had against the wall. When I drove back down, SEPTA had four cars there. The two PPD cars were still with their stop and another PPD was flying south down K with his lights going.

Being a devout coward, I left after the one pass. I did go up to where the DD is. Saw a really cute possible blond WSW coming down a side street. I guess one advantage to stopping at each light is you can look around a bit better. Anyway, I went around the one SHORT block I actually found and she was talking to some guy in the DD parking lot.

So though I cruised, I really unfortunately did not partake. Maybe I'm just getting paranoid. I still like the hunt, just fear the possible repercussions.

Next were the timing of the lights. Kennsington is NOT designed to move traffic that is for sure. My car's MPG computer went from 28.3 down to 27.1 in just two cruises up and down K. It didn't take me long to figure out why everyone was running the red lights (either just as the changed or just before they turned back to green.

Maybe we forgot to tell you? The "custom" in this area regarding traffic lights turning red is red plus three!

That works well unless some azzh*le cop is right behind you when you make the maneuver while being behind a Big truck (can't see the light at all, and it is raining and then you can't get the glove box open to get the insurance papers out. THEN you get to go to the "lovely" Philadelphia Traffic Court. Cited for TWO violations.

Well I rolled into town yesterday afternoon and got checked into the hotel. Immediately headed back out to try out the K stroll in daylight.

I hope the experiences of driving Kennsington are unique to just that area and not all of Philly. Between the driving and pedestrians, I'm surprised I didn't total my car and take two or three pedestrians with me. I thought NYC was bad. The K has it beat. Especially that area of shops around Lehigh. People just walk out and stop in the middle of the street. AHHHH. Makes finding a honey a bit 'trying'.

No success in finding a lady to bring back to the room, though I did see several possibles and definites along the way. Started at Lehigh and headed north, finally turning around at Hunting Park. There was a possible near the corner the DD is on (I almost missed it as I was looking for it on Kennsington. There was a positive (got the look) near Lehigh, spotted her as I was headed back south.

Near Cambria, there were two skinny possibles one of them in a blond with a gray sweat top an pink shirt under it. She was PO'd at someone and stripped off her sweat top like she was ready to go at it. Too much drama for this newbie to Philly, so I passed. On the other side of the street was another blond, slightly older. May have gotten a look from her, but she may have been staring at the out of state plates on the stroll.

Cruised down to just around Huntingdon and did a couple of trips around the block (damned one streets) for my trip back north.

Finally called it an afternoon and went back to the hotel to relax a bit.

Around 10 I decided to head back out and see what night on the stroll looked like. I cruised from way down somewhere on Front St back up to where Kennsignton runs into Frankford Ave. A big BIG difference. Lots of the area was deserted. I mean not even a homeless person in a door.

There was one definite blond nailed to the wall near Hart. I she wasn't fat, but I was looking for one of CJs skinny ladies.

I did see several ladies on the street, but none were looking. One walked by a jerk of a monger. I mean nothing NOT obvious what he was out doing.

There were two things missing last night. Ladies and LE, sorry on the first and happy about the second.

I finally headed back around 11:30. Things were starting to pickup (pun intended) around some of the small bars where locals were showing up for Halloween parties or just a Saturday night out drinking.

Going to try again this morning and see if there are any mid morning ladies out and about.

As for my taking ANY pictures, TOO MUCH OF A CHICKEN. Way too many people around and traffic way too congested for someone NOT happy with seeing a camera to SLOWLY walk up the street and catch you at the next light.

Yesterday I had a great early afternoon indoor GFE date with Jenn (WOW! And afterward decided to cruise the K once to see who was out. I spotted "Hottie Nichole" who has been reported about by others before. She was in an awkward place for a pickup, but I circled around and got her attention. She was looking really pale and down. I pulled up a side street and she got in. I started driving as we introduced each other.

She was very quiet and didn't smile or make eye contact. I told her that I had read about her and had seen great pics of her and that I wanted to set up a date for later. I said I was just taking her around the block and asked if I could get her phone number because I had to get back to work. She wrote her number and I stopped to let her out.

When she got out, she said "why did you even pick me up, all you did was waste my time! " and slammed my door. She was in my car a total of 1-2 minutes. Wow I guess I sure wasted her time. What kind of attitude is that? I felt like rolling the window down and throwing her number back at her. Not much chance I'll ever call it with the friendly and energetic options that are out there.

Hopefully she was just having a bad day, but if she had been nice at all I'd have had.6 for her in a few hours. Has anyone else experienced this attitude from her? I guess that is why we say YMMV.

At least for every girl in the Ave, a few minutes makes a difference, I had a lot of trouble getting to meet Hottie Nicole because every time I spotted her some other monger beat me to the pick up so get your own conclusions to why she got angry, also getting in a car is always a risk and taking the risk for nothing is not going to make her (or any other girl) happy, courtesy dictates you should have given a small tip for her time, $5.$10 on her hand will sweeten her attitude and future service (.6 or even $$$ in a few hours means nothing to any girl on the Ave, they need money now or they wouldn't be out on the first place.

Too bad you will be missing out on Nicole, she is a good date most all the time (even I am not a nice person ALL the time) this girls are human and not sex dispensing machines, treat them fairly and they will reciprocate in kind

Only once did I get anything for less than 20. She was more of a friend than a date, (her words! And only asked that I give her 5 towards her stuff and some change for some looseys. I actually felt guilty after that one though. Since then, I have given her more to make up for that time.

Yes, perhaps Jamey is too much of a sweetheart. When I ran into her today (wearing pink sweats this time) , she mentioned that she once did a favor for a (female) friend who referred her to a guy who took sex photos. But she specifically asked him, and he agreed, that the photos would not be put on the internet. I did the K both Thursday and Friday and talked to a number of SW's. The 10.00 BBBJ / car date is now quite common, and it affects the pricing structure of many of the SW's. Some that would not do a 20.00 car date before are doing them now.

My Secret Ass eating SW--not to be confused with Karen the SW I am nuts about--believes that it is solely because there is less demand for the average Ave SW. I agree with SuperE. Note his attitude. He knows who He is, and does need or seek their acceptance. He and I are alike in this way.

I have a long background in Management. I know how to "work an angle". The approach I take is this-- this is the price I am throwing at you, and it's cool if you don't find that acceptable. I have even stated at times "look I know a lot of Guys will give you more"

Remember the 20.00 BBBJ car date is far from being dead-it is just no longer a given. In my very next report I did pay 20.00 for a BBBJ. SuperE has seen my pictures of her already. My read on her was not to lowball her. I really don't mind paying 20.00, but if I can lowball them I will.
