Been out of commision for a month due to illness. Finally feeling better and called Eastern in Arlington.

Two woman work there, Susan and Wendy. With Susan you get a good massage but that's it. She has.

LM, thanks for that review. I thought it was just me that felt this place was mediocre at best. The Amy I had was full bodied, kinda cute face but was wearing a frumpy grandma dress. Took some concentration to get a pop. And ya, papasan is cool, no winks or smiles to make you feel uncomfortable (if that kinda stuff bothers anyone).

Tried to hit WW after work, but they had a 45 minute work. So, I decided to give Jasmine a shot. "Spa" was run-down crappy office space (so that just makes it average. Was greeted at the door by someone I really hoped was the mamasan- dumpy late-40's hefty provider. She was not the mamasan. Didn't catch her name- sorry dudes.

Things improved once I got on the table. Very good hard massage- she used two hands, elbows, and even climbed up and used her knees. Good teasing, and great (if a bit mechanical) HE on the flip.

I would not repeat (I am not picky, but still, this woman was not doing it for me, but it could have been much worse.

Decided to try out one of the newer places with a "grand opening" ad in CL, for which I had not yet seen any reviews. This post's Title was a line in an ad for the new place on restaurant-row in Waltham. I have gotten tired of the well-reviewed Jasmine, WW, further up Main Street, and other massage places in and around Waltham.

The grand opening ads for the place focus more on foot massages than on bodyrubs. So, I felt I was in unchartered waters as far as expectations.

Called, and jokingly asked if the girls on duty would make my cry, to which the house lady CeCe replied that I would leave happy. Cleary expressed that I did not want one of the men that they have giving services.

Walked in, and everything is brand new. There is a very large wide open back room with many chairs, separated by short curtains. I guess that is the footrub customer area. In the main corridor leading from the reception area to that gigantic back room, there are a handful of private rooms. Consistent with observations on layouts of other brand new places I have ventured into, the setup has the perfunctory 10' high ceilings, with partial walls to the private rooms that are only 8' high.

I was led into one of the brand new rooms, which are relatively simple-and-tasteful. Immaculate setup, typical 9 x 7 arrangement, nice medium-dark colored wall scheme, with a mural of fanning Gisha girl on one wall. I paid the house lady.6 house fee for FH bodyrub. House lady had me get ready, and left, purposely leaving the door open about 2 inches.

When ready, in came Sophia. There was some natural light that got into the room, and Sophia was pleasing, decent body, curly hair, and a very neat fitting black outfit (kinda the standard uniform in the shop. Like the house lady, she purposely left the door open about 2 inches vs. Full closed. As I lay on the table in this room, I faced the cracked open door. So I could view everyone going in / out of the main front-to-back corridor. Sometimes the highway was void of people, sometimes the corridor was like grand central station.

Sophia delivered an excellent massage / rubdown. Soothing, full coverage head2toe, front and back. The work on my feet was performed only as a place that specializes in foot massage could do. Amazing. Her hands were extra soft and felt good everywhere they ventured. Interestingly, she ventured with her elbows, into areas I have only ever had hands. At other times, she ventured with two hands where others providers only use one. The arousal factor was off the charts. Her approach was to migrate several times in a circular pattern around the table. Although the cracked-open door had a high-risk of putting a damper on enjoying the session, it didn't. I was toweled down several times after lotion was applied. But, the intended hot towels were lukewarm to cold. The session ended and when I was done, she was waiting with water outside the door.

Language (verbal) with her was a bit of a barrier, but, ultimately, we communicated perfectly. We did a lot of whispering, and a lot of smiling at each other.

A couple of times, even "sign" language was a bit of a barrier. One funny thing happened that I have never encountered before, which made me laugh to myself. The first couple times I put tongue-in-my-cheek while looking down, Sophia responded by giving me DFK. Eventually, we communicated and translated wants and needs perfectly. That resulted in a Beaned By Baseball Jerk session service session which left me content and relaxed upon exist.

So, due to the place's layout that I described, you can hear a lot. Basically everything. That was probably the worst thing about the place during my visit. There were some work 'guys' walking around working and setting up things, you could hear the phones being answered, you could hear the mongerers convos as they came in, and you could hear the work guys carrying (and popping) the multi-colored balloons from the back of the shop though to the front of the shop to put out on the street. Kind of ruined the chance of having any relaxing tranquility even though the typical soft Asian music is playing.

Bottom line, I will repeat and hopefully get consistent service. One good encounter does not guarantee more, as each one stands on its own merits. My expectations were exceeded on this visit. I will try to not set the bar really high for the next visit, for fear of a freefall letdown. BTW, I over-tipped for above and beyond service.

The appropriate related areas of my body functioned naturally, precisely as designed in response to the servce received!
