I find no arrogance nor self-importance in that position. I myself simply do not respond to PMs requesting info from members which I feel are lazy or leeches. There is plenty of free info in the forum. To enter a post requesting info or worse PM for it when you have not contributed makes you one of the two in my estimation. Could NG have simply ignored the requests, maybe, but sometimes this position needs to be posted in the open.

We all know who the true contributors are here. I consider MB a trusted senior member based on his contributions regardless of the forum designation.

I have received some valuable referrals from other members simply because they know I can be trusted and based on mutual exchanges. Some of these providers have never been mentioned in here.

I have only the interest of the provider in mind with my requests. A true contributer would understand and respect that, instead of lashing out. I don't know any of us mongers personally, so all I have to go by is the rating system that we have trusted so far. I don't claim to be more senior or less senior in the hobby, but what else do I have to go by?

If my request offended you, well, that wasn't my intent. If you understand my position, then bravo. If not, oh well, life is too short, and as always, I will try to protect the interests of both us mongers, and the info of the girls we report on.

If Nuguy & others look at Master's actual post, they will see he was not referring to the issue of protecting someone (even though that is admirable Nuguy); rather he was referring to a rather useless post with a tone that was not appreciated. Now while Master likes to talk in the 3rd person, he doesn't give a flying fornication what Nth-person anyone chooses to use, nor does he mind your mizeruble spelling. Having reviewed Nuguys posts, he thinks he generally does quite a fine job - just doesn't like the "trusted senior" posturing.

Allow me to chime in here, briefly. The lady in question, who I had the pleasure of visiting following Nuguy's response to my PM, specifically wishes to remain UTR. At her request, Nuguy put the info out there in order to attract a limited number of potential new clients as a favor to her. She neither needs nor wants to attract everyone who lurks on this board. It's not about anyone being arrogant or full of themselves; it's about respecting a provider's wishes. Just my. 02 cents.

I have ten times the posts that you do, yet after reviewing your profile you are far more senior than I. In time and experience I would guess.

The reason I am sticking my nose in this is that I understand NuGuy's complaint. When we post about a "sure thing" or a "spinner with extras" a la JoJo at Bonan, our pm boxes explode with guys with single digit posts.

I for one simply delete as these gents have not contributed. I find it surprising that you had a problem since you have been the polar opposite: a legitimate contributor.

I also note that you have been inactive here, post wise, for a cpl yrs. As a seasoned vet I would guess that you would understand that the board is fluid and we adjust and adapt.

I for one hope you keep posting as after reading your history I find your past contributions funny and insightful.

Master may not display as a senior member but has provided help when asked by seniors and non-seniors alike without expecting any quid-pro-quo. Master would be a "Senior" as well if he posted about all of his encounters around the US and even Europe. Take a laxative Nuguy, and if you don't want to help, we don't need to hear about how senior you are.

They are out there still but not as easy to find different quality talent.

Yes, I think I know who you talking about, the Brazilian near Union Sqr. In Somerville.
