Unfortunately almost got scammed by letting the other head take lead. Theres an older lady named "Jen" typically posts on STG that she's visiting Memphis and staying in a hotel out in east Memphis. Saw her ad a couple of times and never saw any signs. Reached out with a dream to do a HH and we agreed. I drove out to the hotel and upon arrival I call and she says that she's in the process of getting her own room since she's sharing one with her Girlfriend and the girlfriend has a date coming over. Didn't think much of it because that tends to happen so I parked and waited. After 10 minutes I call to get a status update and an older woman does answer and now says she's short on her card and for me to just put donation on a greendot or MoneyPak card so she can book the room and we meet up in lobby to exchange. I've done something similar in NY and didn't think twice. Went to Walgreens and she text me really appreciate you helping out The brand you're looking for is MoneyPak, and I'll take care of you and will do an hour for HH donation since you're helping me. I get the gift card and go back to the hotel parking lot and I call and she answers and says glad I'm back, but unfortunately she is now in the bathroom of the room her and her girlfriend are sharing and the girlfriends date is here, so she asks me to just read the card number and expiration so she can book the room online. That didn't make sense to me so I kept asking for her to meet in person as planned and she kept saying because the date is here and she's in the bathroom she can't interrupt the date. I asked can I just wait until the date is over and we can use the room and she says sure but just don't know how long they will be, and I said no worries I can wait. After 20 minutes I call no response. She then texts me says they are still going at it and will let me know when they are done unless I want to provide her the card number. I then asked I can help pay for the room since I'm here and she didn't want that LOL. At this point it was clear that there was no point of going back and forth so I said no problem just let me know when you're available and to this moment still haven't gotten a call or text back.

Pics attached so no one else experiences this. I don't doubt she actually use to service Memphis but probably changed her mind.

That's the main reason I am not chancing it anymore, taking a hiatus. I would normally go during my lunch for qv sessions in the sycamore area but no more. I feel I got out before I got robbed, mugged, pinched or worse. Glad you got out of there safe!
