No. For me it's it's just 40-50 MB total even if I run it 100 times right now because when I run it 100 times, there isn't a new girl.
I am not downloading anymore data as they are girls I've seen already. (not counting the base web page but that's just raw html content+js).

Unless there's a new girl, my total storage is maxxed out at 40-50 MB because I never downloading the images again. (don't need to detect new images, they don't add new ones often and not gonna download 40-50MB each time since they're not gonna change. There would be smarter way if you really want to detect new images added.

So basically
1 new girl = 1 MB average extra on disk max total for the images.

if the list of girls are same for 10 days, and I run it 100 times a day = 1000 times, I'll still have just 40-50MB total stored on the disk.

3 GB per day would mean I'm seeing 3000 new girls a day which isn't possible for me.

I meant eventually I'll get to 3 GB total on disk but that's with 3000 girls in the database and I will never download that every time I run it, it's only 1 MB per new girl profile I will download just once.


I'm not using an IDE For this, that's for real smart nerds who actually make a living. I am just using CLI cuz it's flexible and if I want to run it somewhere else remote, I can dev even from an iphone but this is just for shits and giggles. This way I can also just have a basic terminal open if I'm in a meeting and just monkey around when I don't need to answer something in a meeting.



I am gonna add some DC sites on my own list so I can just see who's coming and going.

'Working in an IDE' is not comfortable or native for me and at the same time bare metal is free and easily accessible so it's just electricity and idle time I'm paying. To answer your early question I got Perplexity for a year free due to some other subscription and just playing around basically. And yes I am copy and pasting into Perplexity and copying the output like a newb LOL.

I approached this from a "simulate a real user agent on a thick client browser visiting the sites via a full O / S" setup and more a combination of gluing various systems scripts and scheduled tasks on the backups for post processing. Good to see how the developer mindset always bias towards efficiency though.

The 15 minute clockwork runs on the homepages haven't gotten much smaller, as they are truly 'fully contained single HTML files' (not a file directory) loadable by a browser with images embedded into that file. So I essentially have a pussy wayback machine running every 15 minutes since October.

For the individual girls themselves that's where the same issues crop up where how often should you visit it, etc. To capture any updates. I haven't figured that out yet either. It's usually not worth re-visiting too many times just for the extra picture or two that might get added later, etc. Etc. If a girl catches your interest you will probably notice new picture anyway, right?

The efforts are now into the de-duplication of the redundant files that have no delta's between each visit. Conceptually, think virtual machines snapshot management essentially. In fact, I'd say these HTML files are so complete most of any of your guys work can probably be repurposed to use my database as a training input LOL.

Marinna updated to 400. Auto-detect is nice. My logic is just dumb 15 minute auto refreshing timer so luck of the draw when it catches the updates.

It was an accident and manual because I don't want to hit the profile only to detect these small changes. Takes too long and not worth the time for now.

The code only look into the profile if the profile is NEW on the landing page else I skip because the code has already seen the girl. This means I will never see a price change. I was looking at her profile manually and then I saw the price change so I clear the baseline data and just had the crawler run again to pick up the new $.

1. fastest run is 11 seconds just to see the base pages. Fast detect of name changes (add/delete). Each profile adds a few more seconds if I was going thru it and fetch the price and download the images of course.

2. if I crawl profiles to detect price changes then I have to download every profile every single time.... I don't want that. That's 90 seconds right now. (base bases + all of the girl's profiles) -- downloading images will add more time.

Wasting 60 more calls. I don't think I need to do that. 11 seconds run for 6 website is better for me. I didn't schedule this, too lazy since I want to see the output as I have time so I just run it when I was going to look at the website and click into the links myself to hope to the new profiles.

I save so much time because I don't waste time downloading the images, if they get another image for the girl then I'd miss it. I rather keep it small then downloading everything everytime to keep the filebase less than 50 MB total.
