That's not a new place, that place has been there for awhile. It was briefly shut down for licensing violations. Surprisingly the therapists there were unlicensed at the time. But reports have indicated it's back open. I have yet to confirm myself, but you're the second one to say so.

It's actually Annie's that's much newer and opened in such close proximity to 1707.

$70 house fee is the new normal, so that's not outrageous.

I do think you overpaid for the festivities, though, as $140 is more the going rate for the protected basics. YMMV if you want something off the VIP menu.

I threaten to walk (and don't return either way) if they even demand $150. We're already up 40% from the old $100 price point, and I'm drawing the line there. You should, too. Inflation hasn't been that out of control and while I'm sure they pay some taxes to avoid that flavor of government heat, I'd bet the lion's share isn't reported.

You made some good points! I do remember the FS fee being 100 now that you mention it. It had been years since I've done the AMPs, so I was clueless when I got back in. Was looking for a decent full meal and I found this place. Because it was my first visit, the manager I spoke with on the phone was cautious. But everything went smooth once I got in and paid the house fee. Before handing it over to Sue, my girl, I slightly pulled her close to me and enjoyed her nice body. Fresh skin. And it was an icebreaker that got everyone in the room laughing. She has a bubbly personality and knew why I was there. TS was slow and enjoyable. Lots of teasing before she dries you off. You probably answered your own question. You, yourself feel a lot better walking into a brick-and-mortar spa than chancing it in a hotel room.

Also, all they'll get from targeting the hotel spots is the talent. Taking out the talent doesn't stop the agencies who will just get more talent and spring up somewhere else. With limited resources it makes no sense for them to go after fly-by-night joints they'll just move around instead of actually shutting down.
