That sucks that she would do that. I have talked to this one but never pursued her. Did you ever see her? What are her demands? I would probably talk to the cops unless you are married and can't have the wife find out.

Nah man, gift cards show no intent of actually meeting face to face. You get to an agreed location, she "gets nervous" and asks for the gift card number. Once she has that you are ghosted.

No, sorry, the moment she said "gift cards" you have to know she's a scammer. No one real ever asks for this. No one. Ever.
