You used two iphones? If so, did you use the front facing camera or the rear camera? Rear camera is ok with good lighting. Don't use the wide angle lens.

POV was an older Galaxy S23 which I switched between rear cam and selfie cam depending on what we were doing. S23 is a few years old now so the plan is to replace it with the iPhone as POV device and then use the DJI for landscape. Or would vice versa be better?

This is the main strength of a DJI 3, it works well even when lighting is not great. It has superior low light sensitivity and color correction. But if the lighting sucks enough, it too will suffer. The worst camera will do better in perfect lighting than the best camera in terrible lighting. Above all, if you have just one source of limited light, you should film from the light source not at it.

I think for my first video the footage was very serviceable having done the homework and reading for preparation prior.

For this session the main issue in Rino's room was indeed that the lamp (and the mirror) is opposite of the bed so both cameras were recording at the source of light and noticed more shadow than I'd like from the POV cam upon rewatch.

Anyone can see this night and day difference if you have a pitch black room and use a candle or a child's night light. This is the worst lighting than you can imagine, but you can still see color and detail with a DJI 3 or iphone if you bounce the light off your face and into the camera. Whereas you get practically a silouhette if you are filming at the source of light. It's explained in the guide as the most important point. The other important point is this is supposed to be fun and if the lighting sucks and the girl won't cooperate on it, just politely back out at the start. This is why I first shower with a girl and feel her out before asking, and if she won't turn on the light I'd reconsider.

Maybe she is cooperative but your gear isn't the best or you are just starting out. Don't stress over it. You won't have fun if you think you are filming professional porn. You will have fun if you think you are taking a souvenier of your latest conquest and just having a little naughty fun with a girl that's letting you something special. It won't be enjoyed if you take it too seriously. When you film many girls, some will give you great results. There is no point in trying to force the duds into doing any better, you have to identify them before you start.

The DJI 3 is a very tricky camera to work, I'm still learning new things after using it a hundred times for sightseeng and filming. The mini tripod stand is essential if you will do static filming "amateur style". I don't do full tripods for various reasons, though some people prefer them. I stick to just the dji 3 or iphone first time since preparing the girl is more important than the gear, too much gear can affect the mood and action. Certain girls I know will be better on repeat visits, and they are. On repeat visits I will sometimes switch to static dji 3 with an iphone hand held. Since I already got handheld DJI 3 footage. It is just a hobby for enjoyment, so to me this works. I hope to someday clear a hallway so I can frame and hang portraits of my favorite moments. The Duke d'Orlean did exactly such a thing but in a large room full of portraits. Some things never change!

With the DJI 3, there are 3 critical settings. Drag down from the top to access settings and the second icon with a circle has 'screen rotate and capture'. Sometimes you want it on, sometimes off. It can be annoying to have it on when all you want is to review and delete shots or connect it to a PC. But it's good to have it on because it starts recording a second sooner and you never forget to start recording. If you manually press the red button to record right after turning on the camera, sometimes it gets ignored and you think you're filming and you're not. This setting guarantees that can't happen. The bottom right setting is 'Gimbal modes' which is super critical. Use the very last setting on the right, FPV with upside down T. I'll avoid making this post too long by explaining the gimbal too much. But use this setting when filming jgirls. Use the very first setting (default) if you are a Youtuber or Instagrammer walking the streets, it is an awesome and powerful demonstration of the gimbal.

Bottom right of the screen is a critical button, it toggles if you are filming away or filming selfie. It is really nice to flip this mid-filming. Practice will show you why and how. The gimbal system on the DJI 3 is really powerful for handheld filming, it smooths out all panning you try. It has some very advanced tracking features but you do not need them for jgirl filming at all. From the bottom of the screen swipe up to set resolution and fps. If you have good lighting and know what you're doing 4 K and 60 fps make sense, but the file sizes are big. For low lighting or casual use, regular 1080 p makes more sense.

When you turn off the DJI 3, the gimbal will store itself away to protect its motor. Note that a hard shake will engage gimbal protection (this is more if you're doing motor sports). There is a zoom and pan up / down control and options, but for jgirl filming never use it. Just make sure you are in the far right gimbal mode. Store the camera in its case, it will fit in most pants pockets next to an iphone. Micro sd cards are very cheap these days, I would get a 512 gb for a balance of capacity and price. At some point, it pays to move files over or swap out a card.

I use the default mini grip extender, which then lets me screw onto the tripod. I will unscrew the tripod if I know I'm going handheld for a long time. Everything is covered and explained better in the guides but I suppose it helps to recap some points here.

The DJI 3 has quite a learning curve, but if you test it versus an iphone and other cameras, it is superior and compact. You'd need a significantly larger camera which honestly is not good for jgirl filming imo. But I'm not here to win anyone over, all the reasoning is spelled out elsewhere.

BTW Yuka Miyoshi is back in the West Coast, as well as another JAV advertised girl in OC. We haven't had a lot come through lately. It's never been my interest, since even though I watch a ton of JAV I rarely recognize these girls. But I like that they are coming over, because I know other guys will appreciate them.

JAV is as popular as sushi. So there is certainly a novelty factor when one comes over. In my experience, it's only a plus if you already knew her from JAV before. Which is not often going to be the case for most guys. 95% of JAV girls are what I call B-listers, girls who made just 1-3 films and were never well known. Whereas the 5% that are A-listers where you can ask around and someone else will recognize, they don't come over here to tour.

I want to say how lucky we are that JAV girls even come here for our convenience. The vast majority of JAV girls you cannot realistically book even in Japan, simply because most don't do that work on the side and of those who do they have to make an exception (usually expensive) for a foreigner. We are second class customers there. But simply meeting a JAV star to chat is easier and sometimes cheap. For example, the last time I met a JAV star was at a meet-and-greet where we shared a drink for $15, and another at a hostess club where the entry was $130 but maybe $260 after drinks. Not bad if you just want to meet a celebrity like me, but no point if you wanted something else. Though yes it was possible to book a third one, it's just not the norm. For complicated reasons prices vary wildly, an A-list star ranges from $250 to potentially over $2000 depending on demand and what you want. Lucky for me, my HYA favorite from those actually available was $250 because she notoriously has low service. She is low S tier even without being JAV. But I fixed that by bringing my own service.

The JAV girl I saw doesn't want to be associated with her porn name (this is probably why she is $250 base rate), so I will review her using her agency name when I have the time. She is 150 cm, which is 4'11". Skinny and well-proportioned, similar body type to Bona / Daphne but 1 inch shorter and 5 years younger. It turns out she does have service, she just holds back because she is kind of like CAKD Amy and knows most guys don't want Amy style service. You would never suspect it from looking at her.

In the US, about 4% of women are 4'11" or shorter. In Japan, it's probably more like 12%. They have girls available who are significantly shorter, it's just not common. When booking girls in Japan, the height measurements are generally close to accurate. Bust sizes though are often exaggerated, not even counting that cup sizes work different. A jgirl who is a Japanese D or E cup will often say she is F cup. But in the US that would be a C cup.

It is possible to meet actual A-list JAV stars in Japan if you speak some Japanese (about 2 years level for bare minimum), but there is a lot of luck and timing involved. I once saw three A-listers in a 24 hour period, one at a meet and greet, another at a hostess club, and a third delivered to my door in full glory. Each of them looked just like they did in JAV if not better, these were not washed up ex-JAV girls years after. But 95% of the JAV girls I like are not available, so it's not like I can just order who I want. I have to browse what's available. By pure luck, 2 I saw were top 10 girls for me, another being in the top 20. I browsed through about 200 JAV stars to pick them. There were maybe 10 others I recognized well but I was not a big enough fan or they were not available on the day I went. I will write a guide when I have more time, but again, 2-4 years of Japanese speaking at minimum to truly enjoy unless you just want to bang.
