Was sorry to see Yannan close as it was a good 15 minutes closer for me. But yesterday I again called ahead to 1314, I asked and was told "not busy", on my arrival a while later I found the place quiet, and thoroughly enjoyed my prolonged TS and massage + with Ada. She really seems to enjoy her work and the visits. JoJo checked with me as I was leaving to see how my visit went. (IMHO) The WS and 1314 crew is still the best in Tucson. (Note) I have learned that when the spas are "busy" is not when I can enjoy my time. As a result, I have gotten into the routine of calling ahead to check out who is available and also how busy things are, and maybe even a suggested timing to visit as to be able to meet my expectations. Rarely, have I been disappointed at either of these locations, and I hope that continues.

There was a place on Tanque Verde just west of Kolb where they had a stand up shower. I think it was called Jin or something like that. The name doesn't show up in Google Maps but street view still shows the words MASSAGE on the wall. It shows a business named Stasyss there now but the massage place was through the side door before the outside stairs. Does anyone know if that place is still around or if they closed down? I haven't been there in at least 2 years and people rarely talk about most of these less visited places.

I've been coming down from Phoenix sporadically for the last month to sample some of the hype coming out here and to get away from the crowds at the Phoenix golf courses. Figured I would come down and enjoy a few of the 19th holes before the summer heat sets in.

First stop was WS on a Wednesday at about 1:30 pm. Holy moly was that a mistake! Walk in the propped-open door to a sexy looking Coco who took me back and to the first door on the right. TLDR: Winterspring: Coco is pretty, a professional, and will get you off and out. General unwelcoming feel. I will not go back.

WS is top notch when they aren't busy but because of that they've become TOO popular and quality suffers greatly because they get so busy. I had a similar experience the last time I was there and mamasan told me to come between 6:30-8 am because they aren't busy at all during that time so you don't get a rushed experience. If I can make it in that early I'll go, otherwise I'll go to one of the lesser known places.

If I am asking there is likely as reason: I had a poor experience with the provider, or there has been enough negative feedback that I am going to pass on her. If it is the former and they want to insist there is no one else, I have no problem to leave and go somewhere or come back later.
