I didn't say they were illegal I know a guy got pulled over leaving a spa and questioned about activity inside or they could come by his home and talk to him just saying if they were fishing for info they could use this.

It is interesting. Could have just as easily been a shake down of papers or the owner not having theirs in order. What makes it most interesting is that it was open per one of the comments to see people cleaning it out. In other ones I have seen shut down in other areas they are locked up by the locality and something posted of notice. Actual chain type locks like that strip club in Bristol a few years back that I wish I knew of before they went.

Not wanting it publicized. The places probably missed a payment to the police chief so they shut them down.

The police need to get search warrants to enter the buildings and anything they read on this site is hearsay so maybe they sent in some undercover cops to see what what's going on. I've seen this when I lived in VA and I heard many states do it. They would send in a cop whos single and once he gives them money for extras they arrest everyone. Luckily these aren't high class places with client lists.

I happened to notice that on STG, the only one of these parlors still advertising is the one on the parkway. Usually there was a string of advertisements with all three or four of them in a row. It appears now that there's only that one advertising, which makes me ponder the thought, that maybe the workers still remaining in that one, have possibly cut a deal, and it could be a trap. I might be paranoid or it could just be hyper vigilance. Either way, call me paranoid if you have to as long as I'm free and running around out here.

I've been around the track as of late for race prep. Blountville is odd cause it's actually Bristol. Bristol cop car and a few undercovers were there for a few hours yesterday.

These workers hide their tips, could been ransacked looking for that but who really knows yet. All a waste of taxpayer money for handy's.

I'm just assuming that's what they think is happening since they're arresting people for prostitution. This is one time I have to agree with the democrats. My body my choice.

Probably one of the adjoining businesses complained. Thats an easy way to get a warrant. I doubt any of these girls are licensed and they actually live in the building. I hope there weren't any guys in there at the time. I don't see anything in the news yet.
