According to BackBlaze, Seagate's 14 TB drives have been very reliable. They are not crap like their earlier smaller capacity drives.

Since WD purchased HGST, the remaining mechanical drive makers are WD, Toshiba, and Seagate. I primarily use WD to host my porn collection (trying to keep this on topic LOL) but my Toshiba drives have been holding up fine in my SAN. Sometimes these titles in English aren't translated well, so if you want to grab the original Japanese and run it through a better translator, look at the top right corner of javlibrary and switch it to Japanese.
