Japan has weird trends for marketing, where a Japanese run shop will at least use real photo these days. They want customers to come back, and it's too obvious when the photo is of a totally different women. If the B+S gap is too wide, customers won't return. But they will lie about ages by 1-15 years, most often saying 20's when the girl is 30's. This is somehow more acceptable, so they keep doing it. Corgs have the same mentality. Just the other day, one corg's website had the slogan "promise no old women" proudly displayed. Very reassuring.

Recently I've seen a disturbing marketing trend, the slogan 'Teens to 20's' on many Japan shop ads on their English portal. But rest assured - while they imply 18-20, the girls are more like 20-35. No overlap at all. You can see this clearly when you click on the actual website, all the girls are 20's and up. So the banner ad slogan is like those mobile ads that aren't remotely related to the product.

WTF Japan. Of ad 1-3, which one follows Western sensibilities? If you said 3, correct. See attached meme summing it up. Basically shops 2 and 3 specialize in petite girls, typically at the 145 cm level, and put them in cute outfits. Sometimes when you turn the girl round, it works. But once you see her face, it's clear what you're really dealing with. 20-35.

Lately, there is an explosion in "foreigner friendly" and even "foreigner only" shops in Japan, especially Tokyo. English, Chinese, Korean are the main targets. Some girls are even doing very late night ships to handle jet-lagged clients who have a day or two due to a layover flight. So I remember when one Jgirl who toured NYC went back to Japan. Worth mentioning that some of our favorite places in Manhattan will be closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving, so call or text ahead of time.
