I try not to give too much info about these things since it's a public forum, but there are two options. First is the door on the left and you can jam a credit card / library card straight in and it opens. Worked on first try. Other option is the car gate which was always open when I went. Both lead to the same elevator room. The card method is reliable. If you are too early and already there, you could hang out elevator room and be on your phone.
