I saw these two as well one late Saturday night about 3 weeks ago.

With so many mixed reports about K&A on this forum it's blatantly obvious the area has now become extremely inconsistent, hit or miss. Therefore intel on this site has become even more valuable than ever before.

I drove the ave (as well as some off streets) Sunday from 11:30 am to 9:30 pm (Yes you're reading that correctly) sadly, there was nothing available aside from a handful of extremely old street walkers or some obvious addicts completely covered with open wounds.

As I type this, I'm back on the ave again. I've been here since 12, it's now 4 pm. Absolutely nothing worth while out. If anyone has a decent regular, a better area or even a time machine, I'd really appreciate hearing from you!

I definitely agree with Hank. I live down there and can say firsthand that it's not only still plenty activity but actually more!

Ever since they cleared out the encampments, there's been a lot more foot traffic everywhere, not just Kensington ave. But Ruth st, Jasper emerald st, Frankford ave, amber st all the way to Aramingo.

So far this month, I've had 4 girls approach and solicit me for dates!

This rarely ever happens to me and I've lived down Kenzo for seven years!

I just don't see anything changing no time soon and worst case scenario.

It will probably transform back to the pre fentanyl era of Kensington where it wasn't so drastically fucked up like it is now.

Some of you do more fear mongering than actual mongering. I have not seen or heard anything about LE specifically targetting mongers.

In my many years of mongering in philly, I have not had any experience of LE cracking down on mongers. If the monger is doing other illegal activities (drug dealing, violence, wreckless driving etc) then that is a different story. But if the monger is an otherwise law abiding citizen, then they just let you go. This has been my experience countless times.

The truth is that mongers are a big portion of what run the city. They end up doing more hard than good by going after these types of mutually consensual interactions. Just look at that whole robert kraft fiasco.

The other issue is that cops are also mongers. They monger on their off duty times and some even monger on duty. They will definitely not go after their own. This is probably why they have their own specified units to have a select few only go after SW.

I am not opposed to the idea that LE could change their strategy, but I'll believe it when I see it.
