I gave them my ID but blur everything other than my name and photo and told them to look up LinkedIn for my job info. They were okay with it but one did ask me to text a selfie. To be honest, you have higher risk to have your PPI leaked from bank and insurance with serious damages than few bookers.

I think this is a very simple issue. If you're uncomfortable sharing personal information or don't want to follow their rules, then don't contact them or meet their girls. I can't speak for every agency but I've had agencies forget me when I haven't used them in years. If only they did store that info better. I would think they store it on encrypted drive, the corgs say that's how they store the info you send them. They themselves have no interest in being caught with it in the open. The most important purpose is to rule you out as being a known stalker or banned customer. They spend a lot of time dealing with just a handful of those.
