I disagree with this rule. Maybe it's the bay vs LA and yall have more asshole bookers.

Whenever a new org pops up in the bay with a girl I'd like to see, I text them and ask for a specific girl at a specific tine slot.

They ask screening info, then get back to me approve me and tell me this slot is unavailable. Who's wasting whose time here? They coulda just started with that but they went ahead with the verification.

So if I cannot make the slot that's available I just tell them so. If they try to sell me a girl I didn't want to see, I tell them so.

I don't know why all this "you must make an appointment" talk perpetuates. This kinda approach only makes bookers power trip more.

That's a different scenario than the one we were discussing. The dude texted the booker. Went through a lengthy screening process. Got approved. Then didn't make an appointment. If I was the booker, that would piss me off, too. If you waste her time like that, I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of getting blacklisted.

On the other hand, if you text a booker and ask for a specific girl, and she's not available. Well, that's not your fault. There is no need to make an appointment in that case, and the booker has no reason to be annoyed with you. If she offers you another girl, you are under no obligation to accept. (Although, I've often found great new girls like that.)

Simple courtesy on both sides goes a long way.

I did marketing before moving to law and that's pretty typical practice to get people to make purchases. It's a time sunk fallacy that you made all this trouble to wait and get verified that even if your girl is unavailable, you'll make one with another girl to avoid leaving empty handed. Def don't like you Rocket but I agree that bookers who would blacklist you from not making an appointment because a time doesn't fit your schedule is just bad business and poor customer service.

A good rule of thumb for all hobbyists is: If you text a booker, make an appointment. If you are not ready to make an appointment yet, don't text the booker. And, especially, if you ask a booker to go through the long and complicated process of screening you, then, if you are approved, you MUST make an appointment. If you do anything else, you are wasting the booker's time and you are likely to be suspended or banned completely. Like anything else in life, it's important to look at things from the other person's perspective. Do that and you won't have any trouble seeing any k-girl you like.
