Something I encountered when sending a photo to a provider. I selected the photo icon on the text app, took the photo and sent it. She said she did not get it, so I did it again, still a no go.

Text showed the photos and listed them as being sent.

So, I took the photo using the camera app on the phone, saved it and sent it as an attachment. This time it went through.

I showed her the photos just to prove I had tried to send them. BTW, I was in my car at this time.

I did an inquiry on line and saw that you really need an internet connection to do this, roaming does not work that well.

Besides a cardinal rule not to send any personal information, there are a lot of nuance to sending MMS attachments via cellular. Android vs Apple, Paid vs Prepaid plans, Cellular vs WiFi, the settings on phone to save data charges. If you are using a burner, which you should, I assume the plan and its settings are limited, unless free WiFi is available.
