That is the main entry gate. You are a little exposed there, so instead of that gate I use the one that is on the right hand side of the complex as you face it from the parking lot. I should update by saying I must have had beginner's luck because previously the main gate opened first try with glasses. This time I tried five times because the rim slipped past the latch without moving it enough. So yes, a more out of the way gate is better. I'll look for this other gate.
