Special K was a beautiful but troubled soul. Her demons rebuked any help and ultimately proved to be insurmountable. She kept showing fleeting glimpses of a truly amazing person that kept many of us coming back and wanting so much for her. She had the biggest heart that in the end became too big. When I heard through a great close friend of mine that she passed away, I gave one of the biggest "WHAT" that I can remember.

I'm an out of towner. But I share your sense of loss with the passing of a special provider. There's a lot of layers to it for me when it's happened to a cherished lady I would frequently visit.
