It's a battle now, no more Danny boy in DC. Getting new blood into office is the first step to the cure. Focus more on doing what is right.

What happened to the privileged Lezzie touting her horn on widespread trafficking and abuse in Hawaii? And them fuka from the prosecutors office doing AMP raids election year every month for the media coverage? Nothing came out of all that hype.

Sadly like many of program like this, most created with getting funding from feds and gullible Hawaii folks to donate to a cause. Too many out there spreading fear, drama and sympathy and collecting money to line their pockets. Follow the money, and it will leave you disgusted, or jealous of the $200 k salaries at the so called non profits.

Maybe they need votes, maybe funding. Either way, plenty of fear mongering to keep their pockets full of cash.

Can remember less than 5 pimps, and one AMP (empire, mayflower) that lead to convection in past 20 years. I guess that is definition of success for this.

What you have to consider in a case of human trafficking is: 1. Did a person other than the person that is on the plane ticket, pay for it; and 2. The frequency of the visits to a particular area (multiple trips to the same area in one year.).

The multiple trips to Hawaii in one year would generate that report, especially if you are coming from a foreign country without a work Visa. Customs and immigration does maintain records of these frequent trips.

Also, if you are paying for the trips, you could be arrested for human trafficking.

A South Dakota woman pleaded guilty to making a false police report after she claimed an assailant raped her in Florida, police say.

XXXXXXXX, 30, was arrested in Sioux Falls on March 10 after reporting sexual battery in Hillsborough County two days before. She was charged with misuse of a 911 system, false report of a crime, and fabricating physical evidence.

In 911 audio released by Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, XXXXXXXX claimed that she pulled over to the side of I-75 after having some car trouble. She then reported that a male suspect put a towel over her head, shoved her in the car, and raped her while her arms and legs were tied.

XXXXXXXX told police that a particular type of rope was used, and authorities discovered that the product was sold at nearby Walmart stores. During a thorough search of local Walmart locations, police saw surveillance video of XXXXXXXX buying the rope.

"Following this discovery, detectives recovered video from multiple places Mrs. XXXXXXXX visited in the time surrounding the attack, refuting her initial statements," Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said in a statement. XXXXXXXX attempted to change her statements before eventually admitting to fabricating the entire incident".

According to FOX 13 Tampa Bay, XXXXXXXX, who was married at the time, fabricated the rape to get a free STD test.

"She had consensual sexual intercourse with an individual in Hillsborough County," prosecutor Jessica Couvertier said in court, according to FOX 13. "Then she felt guilty about it because of her marital status, and she wanted to get checked out for a sexually transmitted disease".

"This case is truly disheartening," Sheriff Chad Chronister said in a press release in May. "There are far too many victims faced with this type of trauma. This woman took advantage of our 911 emergency line and diverted attention from actual victims who need the viable resources available in these investigative scenarios".

XXXXXXXX was sentenced to two years of community control, a form of house arrest, and eight years of probation, FOX 13 reported. She also owes the sheriff's office $17,245 for the resources they expended while investigating her report.
