Went to King today called ahead and asked for Jeniffer from previous reviews. To my surprise I knew her from Bernie's / Magic Hands got the same great service. (Sort of) The experience didn't met my goals, and I was disappointed at rather lackluster service given the relatively high negotiated rate for a NoVA finish. But there is satisfaction to be had if you play your cards right.

To be clear, I still wouldn't advise this unless you're super geographically restricted. I wish I'd driven further! But it's inaccurate to paint with an overly broad brush and say that there are no services to be had.

She is terrible at answering texts to her 5 different phone numbers in all her various adds. Total waste of time.

Driving down Tyson's caught wind of a few signs promoting a new spa on 7649 Leesburg Pk.

Decided to TOFFT. Serenity spa. Office plaza. Scoped the outside saw closed curtains and a camera. Usually things that aren't present in a legit spa.

Did an hour. Met Kelly. Older Chinese lady. Decent English. Able to hold a conversation throughout the entire massage. From my intel, she used to work at KnH before here so she's been a resident of the area for quite sometime.

Decent massage, but nothing on the flip. After hour got the "ok finished. Thank you".

No extras but. I didn't really push. I wouldn't write off the place entirely. I think being more assertive and perhaps all the talking worked against me rather than in my favor..

I have been super into finding Latina massage places lately and I came across a CL posting for one in Reston. They are in a suite at a huge office building and the suite they're in is massive. Definitely looks like an abandoned work office for a business that had like 50 employees (it has a board room and everything). There were 3 works there and I was the only visitor, all workers looked plain 30 something civs with medical garb on. Please note, nobody there speaks English. The rooms where they massage are little office rooms with doors (kind nice). Massage was okay, with no teasing, and there was no finish to be had on my visit, but I have been in the game long enough to know something can go down here, so if anyone wants to go to the most interesting commercial site I've ever been to, there's your place.

This was around the time where good ol backpage was up and running. Not the knock offs the OG that got shut down.

BP was the source of all new adventures and was a great almanac for trying out and documenting new and exciting journeys. It's how I built up so much cred on the board in such a short amount of time.

But all these things are not without the fair share of shrewd businessmen and outright scams.

One place that stuck out to me in particular was this nail salon and barbershop that used to operate out of Franconia. Well as luck would have it, I caught wind of an ad on BP saying they were offering massage here. There was a young Latina masseuse who I saw a few times but there was only ever legit massage. No flip. No extras. I once got ballsy enough to ask and was immediately shut down and then she told me that many men came to see her asking the same question as me and she had found out that unbeknownst to her, the boss was advertising on BP and reaping up that sweet house fee from mongers. The boss knew how the game worked and if he could just fool enough mongers once. It's a pretty significant pay day. Then there's the stubborn idiots like me who get fooled on more than one occasion. Either way it's a pay day.

We'll eventually she left the business and then the business itself ceased to exist. I'm sure that boss eventually found another place to shack up and exploit a new set of people, employee and customer alike. Because tho the names might change. The tactics do not. If you can catch where I'm going with this. This place might have a different name but things are not as they seem. In my Heyday I learned that these kind of massage places often just seek to collect on your willingness to try something new even when that "new" is simply an old toy that's been refurbished with a nicer sounding moniker, and if you don't pay attention, you will be Maid a merry fool.

So I walked in Castle Aroma again and my gal was very happy to see me and gave me a hug. She showed me to a room and I hear the house fee for one hour. Guys, sorry disagreeing but my friend, the management consultant, has been all overs this great nation, and never found the collection of strong and overweight Thai providers in this area to be in the top ten. Yes, you get a stronger than average massage, but their technique is inconsistent and unrefined. Yes, most other providers are mediocre and very lazy, but come on! Do you enjoy extras from ladies that let go their weight so much? Rhonda, Tara, KK, Anna, Candy etc, etc. (Candy is probably the best of the bunch). If you enjoy a brute force massage, go on. In my friend's experience Chinese providers have better technique and, if you do your homework, very strong pressure as well. . . And cheaper.

Yes, I enjoy the unique massage experiences with KK, Tara, Rhonda, and others. I find their personalities pleasant and hands talented. They provide me a consistently excellent massage experience.

Over the years I have enjoyed the work / talents of Massage Technicians of various ethnicities and sizes who were "born in America" or have moved here (Chinese, Korean, Thai, European, other Asian, Pacific Island, middle-Eastern, Hispanic, and those whose ethnicities are hard to discern). Some are slender / petite, some are full-bodied. All have been over the age of 30 - most in their 40's-50's. A few older than me (65). Regardless of the color, weight, or ethnicity of these ladies, I have always respected them. For those with talent, I have often enjoyed repeated appointments spanning months to years.

Always be nice to the ladies.

I agree Looking at the photos of many of the Thai providers in this area, they are not all that good looking. A lot of them got hooked on the "American" diet and are kind of trending towards chubby.
