Buy one of the listed cards online or where ever that sells them (you can pay cash) and you should be good to go. You can't use a credit card directly but you can buy most gift cards with a credit card.

Wouldn't it be more prudent to just give FA your references from the LA / OC orgs you are already with? No need to take a detour when you already have the necessary references.
