I generally approve of any collective voice of mongers simply because there is stark lack of a large body (not talking about girl bodies LOL) protecting monger interests and rights.

I will say that the boycott was very public and more importantly was set a few weeks out in the future. This gives orgs time to prepare for it and create contingency plans. What would help is that if boycott suddenly started at a time they could not prepare for it. Some element of surprise to it. Just some food for thought for the organizers.
