The sense I'm getting from these people from my limited interaction is that most of them don't really have a formal education. It's not just about the broken English or having terrible grammar. Anyone who has any experience interacting with lower class Koreans know the way they move, speak, and think are very different. They're more street smart than book smart which is probably why they're in this business.
