I have this exact same issue. Normally a yeast infection would disappear in 2 days with no treatment needed. It for the past four months I've been using antifungal cream every day and if I get lazy with it, the yeast comes right back. There is a balanitis subreddit where lots of guys seem to have the same issue, seems like it can be stubborn to get rid of. Common advice seems to be not to freak out about it, as a lot of it is psychological.
