A massage room is a space where legally you have "a reasonable expectation of privacy. " It's no different than a restroom stall or a dressing room. All it would take would be for a female client to be undressing in one of the rooms while a male client was wandering the halls to use the restroom and happened to take a quick peek. That's enough lawsuit material to put a place like that out of business forever. If they want to crack down on HJs that's their choice, but there are far better ways to do it that won't get them sued.

The way they're doing it is by installing inward looking peepholes like one you might have on the front door of your house, except they look IN to the room instead of out. That way the owner or manager or whoever can walk by and look in to see if someone is breaking the rules.

That's pretty cringe worthy, TBH. If they want to crack down on extras that's their prerogative, but I can't even begin to list all of the issues the reverse peepholes could cause. I can think of far better ways to do it without potential invasion of privacy issues.
