With the decreased traffic these days, I can make the drive from the west side of Oakland County to Jackson in about an hour. Pre-Covid, it used to take me close to 45 minutes just to get to M1. Plus I have a lot of extra time on my hands. Bottom line, I've determined that there is no reason why not to head out to Jackson once a week. On the road for business, in the Detroit suburbs, and I needed of a massage.

After reading some reviews I choose Massage Herb Spa. Unfortunately when I called I wasn't able to get an appointment with their ace, Julie / Julia, Tia was available. Upon entering I knew that my best case scenario was a standard are&T experience, Tia was wearing hospital scrubs and two masks. And I was right. The massage was good, 3 stars. There was a little ST before the flip but she did it before she removing the oil with the hot towel which was odd and out of the normal order. The release was good and she responded to my requests. Overall and good affordable place for a standard are&T. I'm sure that service gets a little better with repeat visits. I could hear Julie / Julia laughing in the next room for the better part of the hour. Someone was having a good time.

They are different. IMO, neither is "better", they are comparable value, depending on what you want.

These places are there not for you AND them, but for THEM. Your AMP is there to make money but also to provide a service. The bikini joint? More to make MORE money and provide a more limited service. Which in MOST cases involves only a massage. MOST being 99% of the time in my estimate. Cute girls, decent massage, big upselling for massage types, but don't expect anything more.

I'm probably a complete outlier on this site, but within reason, the cost of the hobby is not a big deal for me. Amazes me that this place is still operating. You're on the table and someone is just the other side of the curtain doing a load of wash. Besides that, major upsell by old broads.
